“We wanted a modest but delicious small cake for an 80th birthday, and this fit the bill perfectly. It looks lovely and tastes delicious. We don’t like over-the-top, highly decorated cakes that are too sweet, so this was perfect. It’s my second purchase - last time the delicious lemon drizzle cake for my mum-in-law’s 90th birthday. That was also delicious, and I love the understated elegance of these cakes.”

“I wanted a unique cake for my mum's birthday and this was spot on in terms of an unusual but delicious mix of flavours. I am health-conscious, but relax this for special ocassions. However, this was far too sugary! My family couldn't sleep because of the sugar content. If there could be a better health focus (it doesn't necessarily need to be vegan - just low calorie and less sweetness), it would make this cake and your others more satisfying. It was delivered on time and beautifully presented.”
“Online ordering and delivery worked. Although i paid extra fee for a morning delivery (until 1pm), and it didn't arrive until 3pm. But the real review of a cake has to be the cake. It was at best average. It was dry, and the topping was pretty but not that tasty. I've ordered from Sponge, or Konditor, before and their cakes were much better. I'll go back to that.”
“Moist crumb, sharp passionfruit curd, a good ratio of icing to cake, and the icing isn't overly sweet. Came out as fresh when stored in the fridge for a few days (arrived on Sunday for a Wednesday birthday, stored in the fridge & removed Wednesday morning for cutting in the afternoon). Personally, didn't deliver the wow factor I'd expect for a 6 inch cake costing £30, and I wouldn't buy it for a party centrepiece, but functioned just fine for a quiet family gathering.”
