“My son and I arrived really late to our campsite. The first thing I set up was the LightRanger. This was our first time using it. We normally have a few lanterns and headlamps for the late night check in’s. As a lot of the reviews say “it’s a total game changer”. The following morning our neighbor walked up and asked what lights we were using. The LightRanger will be added to our must bring list. Definitely, purchase the colored lenses as well. I also purchased the heavy-duty carry case and solar panel. I’m planning on purchasing a second LightRanger soon.”
“The first unit I was sent was defective and was not showing the status of the battery’s charge. It also had what looked like scratches on the silver trim piece. I contacted customer service and they sent me another unit that works as expected. This light is bright! I plan on using it to work on my truck and bikes in my dark garage and basement. I also will take it camping to light up my cornhole boards for some evening competition.”
“The light itself is great, however the tripod mount is absolute garbage. It’s like they found the absolute cheapest material and said “that’ll do”. It almost makes me want to return the light. Very disappointed in the quality of the tripod.”
“I haven't yet taken these out camping, but they light up my entire back yard which is nice. If they can do that, they should easily light up the area around a small camo site.
I've also used these to do work outside after the sun has gone done to do some work around the yard. They were bright and efficient.
The over all quality and use of these I think will be a great asset to our campsite when we finally get to go in November.”
