“Tried it out for the first time on a camping trip this past weekend. Overall, happy. Solidly built, I really like the different color options (white, amber, red) and the ability to dim the light. My only beef is the app is very slow to connect and sometimes you need to manually turn the light on to "re-engage" bluetooth. Other than that, happy with my purchase.”

However they run several seriously impressive deals that include sales that offer great savings or the one I partook in included an entirely separate light, for free. I assumed that the free light would be simple though away for them. That was not the case, the lower powered light that I received for free is unbelievably remarkable on its own. “I got the LightRanger 2000 mainly for camping trips, but since it’s still too hot to go camping, I’ve been finding other ways to use it. Recently, I needed to install a hitch receiver on my car, and the LightRanger 2000 came in very handy. Even during the daytime, it had more than enough light to illuminate the area around me.
The Devos app was also very easy to set up and connect to the light. Being able to control the light through the app is really convenient, especially when the light is 10 feet up in the air.
The tripod that comes with it is solid and sturdy, but still lightweight. One of my favorite uses so far has been barbecuing in the backyard. I normally use a headlamp, but wearing one on your head for a long time can get uncomfortable. And a lot of times, I forgot to charge it. The LightRanger solves that problem and does a great job lighting up my cooking area.
Another thing I really like is the battery life. Since I got it, I haven’t charged it once, even though I’ve used it for several hours. The battery is still around 40%. I also noticed that the light itself doesn’t get hot, even after several hours of use, which is a nice bonus.
Overall, I’d say it’s a very versatile light. I originally got it for camping, but I’m finding plenty of other uses for it around the house.”

“Nice light and packaging. The sand and concept is good. Not as bright as anticipated and battery doesn’t quite last as long as they say for both low and higher power modes. Coverage is more like 25’, not 40’.
Overall good, but pretty expensive for what it is.”
