The 2000 is by far the absolute best camping and area specific zone lighting unit I have ever owned or experienced. Had many lights over the past 50 yrs. Yes I’m that old. The phone app allows total adjustability of all the 2000’s capabilities. I can’t recommend this light strongly enough. I smile every time it’s on. You will LOVE it!

The LR2000 is a good light however, the 1 star is given due to the horrific matter regarding the flat pack fire pit to which I ordered at the same time as this light and the motion sensor yet never received the fire pit and after months and months of dealing with Devo's customer service team in the Philiphines, I was promised many times I would receive the fire pit and never did. As a matter of fact, the customer service rep specified Iwould receive this fire pit at zero cost due to the unconscionable issues and guess what? Still never received it! I changed all (3) three ratings to 1 star because even after receiving a message from customer support specifying the above issue, I was asked what they could do to make this right so I responded. I was told once again that this matter would be forwarded to management and unfortunately, all I've heard since is crickets chirping. I also specified that if they make this right, I would edit my comment with an honest rating. I have been corresponding with Ferninand out of the Philiphines.

I was hovering between a 3 and a 4. It would be a solid 5 if the battery life was not so poor and it charged faster. The Pros Provides a ton of light directed where you need it is dimable and color changable can control it from my phone high lift tripod to get the light above your eyes so it lights up a bigger area and doesnt blind you The Cons as mentioned, the battery life. my use case is when I get to camp (and light is fading) i set this up and run it with all for sides for about an hour at 40-50%. then once I am setup I turn it down to 10% and only light 1 or 2 sides for several hours just to provide enough light to walk around without tripping but not enough to mess with the ambiance of the camp fire. I turn it off when I turn in for the night (usually pretty early when camping). my expectation is that I should be able continue to run 1/2 sides at 10% for many hours over multiple nights but that is not what I have found to be the case. Usually by the 2nd night the battery is dead before im in bed. It also takes quite a while to recharge and that is why I was considering a 3. Maybe it would charge faster at home on A/C power but I'm camping so all have is a battery pack or USB connection in my vehicle. I wouldn't care if this weighed 3x as much if the battery lasted a full 4-5 day trip.

I have two LR2000s and they are fantastic for car work, camping, and any situation that requires long lasting bright and adjustable lighting. Durable and used in 20 degree weather with zero issues. That said, with a medium setting which is plenty of light with no illumination from the sky, the LR last very long over multiple days. Keep in mind, it does take quite a long time to charge back up to full from empty or low. Even with a 2000watt power bank, it will drain the charge just to start to fill the LR charge. I negate battery usage with the solar augmentation panel, but keep in mind it does not snap in tightly. The panel sits fairly loose via a notch attachment. A more secure fitting or adapter would give peace of mind with the expensive solar panel when the light is used at height. Lastly, the LR has a tripod leg configuariton that essentially has two modes; very narrow close config which gives height but decreases stability and a wide base configuration that maximizes surface area to stabilize the light. Of note, the light must be placed in fairly flat ground due to the legs, once locked into position do not give micro adjustments I.e each leg cannot extend or shorten according to the terrain to keep the light as vertical as possible. This is not a deal breaker unless you are on uneven and/or rocky ground or there is wind. The LR is portable and very light, but at even medium height on uneven grown it can fall over with a 5-8mph wind. Not including the sensor and solar panel which increases the top weight of the light. The solar panel will catch wind like a sail and nobody wants a broken panel or light. All in all, fantastic customer service and one of the best lighting solutions on the market if not the standard! Love this company and this product. Oh and although I haven’t used it I do believe you can stake the light legs in place to keep it stable, but that is only feasible if the ground can accept a stake due to rocks, uneven concrete, natural vegetation, roots and soft or muddy soil. Thanks Devos!

Really happy with the light so far. Bright, solid performance, and the app is user-friendly. The build quality of the light itself feels excellent, though the tripod seems about half the quality of the actual light. Mine arrived with a broken tripod lock, but customer service was quick and easy to deal with and sent a replacement without any issues. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the battery drains pretty fast when running at full power. All in all, I like it a lot and will see how it holds up long term.
