“was looking for a new stethoscope - heard about this on - Just Some Pod Cast- decided at my age a digital would be helpful- love it. New patient today with a murmur compared my new core digital with my old cardiology classic littman- no comparison - the core digital had was superior sound”

“As a result of being a firefighter and EMT, and being center stage for the multiple sirens on the vehicles, I am completely deaf in my R ear. As a Nurse, this has posed a problem for me b/c I don't always have digital equipment as we do on the rigs, so traditional stethoscopes have been a problem. I bit the bullet and invested in the digital stethoscope, and it's been 100% worth every single penny. I work in Correctional Nursing, and it's ALWAYS loud, people are always yelling, and that makes it even more difficult to hear a heartbeat, particularly in a crisis. The amplification from this stethoscope, even at the lowest volume setting, gives me reliable and accurate readings for BP, HR, and even heart and lung sounds - things that I've definitely been missing when using a standard stethoscope. My only regret is, seriously, that I did not purchase this sooner. Now I have to hide my stethoscope from co-workers because everyone is blown away by how amazing it is.”

“This is my third Eko, my second Littman Core. I had the first generation which was great but pales in comparison to the new technology. I use one in the clinic and one in the field with volunteer first responders. I can hear murmurs that were not audible with normal scopes. Additionally, noise cancellation is a real benefit in both the field and the clinic. I also use this to teach my clinic patients about my findings by recording the sounds on my phone and having them listen to the recording. This is the best tool in my toolbox.”

“Excellent stethoscope to overcome hearing loss. Had to remove hearing aid with conventional stethoscope. Disappointed it doesn't interact well with hearing aid app, resound. However, does allow me to do heart and lung exam, probably better than before hearing loss. You might look into collaboration with hearing aid manufacturers.”

“I have only had this stethoscope 2 weeks and, so far, I feel it is great. I need to figure out how to block background noise as the amplification amplifies everything. Also, I wish I had waited a bit as they have since come out with a gold-colored head unit and it looks great!!! Fortunately, the amplification turns itself off as the unit turns itself on while in my bag (I do home visits).”
