“I purchased my new EKO CORE 500 at the AAFP FMX 2024 meeting a few weeks back and very excited to get back to use this new technology. I've been using it daily, did not upgrade the app and use the free version. I am sadden to report that it's not lived up to my expectations. I practice in the senior care realm, hence the excitement. I'm not yet hearing impaired, and my old Littman Cardiology, comparably is still a sharper (no adjuvant sounds produced by fabric and skin contact). Yes, the heart rate reading is helpful but the ECG takes more effort to produce a clear tracing. And yes, I have completely read the guide and instructions on the eko APP. I admit there could be some user error so I tried calling their technical support, not live, they call you when they're available and I wasn't!”
