“As I entered the wards with my new Eko case, my colleagues looked up from their keyboards, having spent their requisite 30 seconds per patient already. The internists drooled hungrily at my clear diagnostic prowess. The surgeons nodded admiringly that I found the tools of my trade worthy of such a case. The orthopedists looked on uncomprehendingly at what mysteries might be contained therein. Has William Osler himself reappeared, many asked under their collective breaths. Perhaps. Perhaps. Good, sturdy case.”

“It would have been better to have foam in the case instead of hard plastic. The plastic keeps wanting to pop out.”

“The case quality is very good and it certainly protects the scope during transport. This is a scope you do not want to bang around. Of course most of the damage exposure is when it is in my coat pocket and the case is too big for that. I do not see myself using it much. I will probably still throw my coat in my car with the scope in the pocket and hope it does not hit something.”
