Nice stethoscope; however, the volume is very low.

Bought this to replace my Cardiology IV. Incredible sound quality, easy to use, features are cutting edge. Whether transporting by ground or air, the audio control and noise canceling feature make it feel like I'm auscultating in an exam room. AI heart tone identification is wild. cardiac/pulmonary/wide modes make auscultation simple and effective. I'm able to record and transmit what I'm hearing directly to the care team at the receiving hospital. This blows the socks off the original CORE, Cardiology IV, and every other scope I've ever used. Worth the investment.

good: audio modes are amazing. can help with exam in all settings including dynamic EMS. EKG works quickly to display a waveform. bad: buttons easy to press while manipulating steth. you will easily switch modes or turn up/down the volume by accident. the buttons need to be recessed or harder to depress. heartbeat erratic to display, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. even in ideal setting. AI features work only when connected to your phone. so if you dont connect the app and have it active on your phone all the time your using the steth you wont get the AI analysis or advanced features they advertise to work. verdict: if you are in a static doctor office and have ample time this can be helpful. if your in a dynamic fast environment like an ER or EMS this is useless as is. unless you want to just use it for the sound enhancement. i returned mine for a refund. i work in a large city EMS.

This is a game changer - I love it - makes it easier to evaluate patients. You can appreciate any rhythm changes and heart murmurs with ease. Patients get impressed with the new technology. I can show them the rhythm strip - heart rate.

Best stethoscope I have ever used by far! All of my colleagues that I have shown it to, have purchased their own. The heart and lung sound are vividly clear, which has helped provide patient care more efficiently.

Such an upgrade!!!! I work the more acute wing of a Long Term Facility. We had a resident in a Code situation and the provider said she wished she could continuously monitor the patient's heart. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and there we had it!! She could see the rhythm!! I continued to call out the rhythms until the paramedics showed up. On a daily basis, this is so superior to it's predecessor. I can hear very well. Sounds are crystal clear. I use alcohol wipes for more clarity on rhythms; with the Duo, I had to use lubricants. This is wonderful!!

I have had a fun time learning this scope. Then a little more time learning the app. All very easy. Manipulating the setting and adjusting volume is second nature now. The app's ability to document murmurs is pretty impressive. Uploading (sharing) the recording analysis to a patient's chart takes a few more steps than just dictating my findings directly into the record. For now I only upload abnormal findings.
