It does everything it says and with great clarity. You can also use the head as a standalone and use you headphones or ear buds. Great visual reading on the head piece and on your mobile device. The only negative is the high price for a yearly subscription, battery and ear pieces.

My husband and I gifted our daughter, and ED RN, this scope when hers finally gave out. Hers was from her RN school which was 10 years ago. She has worked so hard and I told her I loved mine. Now she is rocking the Eko!! Thank you for such a great product!!

Undecided yet with it. I am so used to an "analog" stethescope this digital signal will take some getting used to. On a hairy chest there is lots of static and makes the murmur hard to appreciate. The ECG signal is hard on men also. It is very interesting and have not given up. I do think it will take some getting used to if you are used to a regular stethescope and actually hear fairly well. The volume is louder and my grading of murmurs is also higher with this device. I am still going back and forth when I hear something.

This is a cool device. My first week's thoughts: the package arrived on the date delivered; click connection of headpiece to tube was simple; battery life is good and charging is simple; color accents are fun; chest connectivity is decreased by hair, obesity, copd, just like any stethoscope, but the EKG leads obtained are still useful; the scope connects quickly to the app; the scope picked up PVCs and afib accurately, with the former saving a prolonged clinic stay and allowed scheduling of a full EKG and further, fasting labs. Murmur pickup not as impressive??, but i've yet to fully use the scope fully for this function due to time limitations with patients.
