“I purchased the Explore Scooter at the end of August for my daughter who started college and it would be excellent for her to get around campus and some off campus locations. I didn't receive it until almost mid October. I was told the delay was due to the shipping crisis on the west coast which had me puzzled because I thought these units were made in the usa but okay. I received the unit, unboxed it, watched the setup video and connected everything accordingly. After 10 hours charging I attempted to start the scooter and nothing. I double check myself, watch the video again to make sure that I missed nothing and I connected it again to charge another 8 hours. Nothing. I am highly disappointed. I paid $1400 plus $$'s and bought the folding lock as well (which showed up a week AFTER the scooter) only to have purchased a defunct product! Its quite heavy, but I knew that. But to have to return something which isn't cheap for a replacement unit?? No thanks. I want a refund because this experience has left me with zero faith in your company!”

“This is my first electric scooter purchase. I've thoroughly enjoyed this scooter. It gives me a new meaning of freedom. It reduced my commuting expenses and I learn something new every time I ride. It's a big upgrade from those rental scooters I've ridden in the past. It's definitely a head turner when you turn lights on at night. I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this one, I just wish I did it sooner.”
“I received my Apollo Explore scooter two weeks ago. It was delivered by UPS in good condition with no obvious damage. I carefully unpacked it, set it up, and carefully inspected it.Everything was great. I checked the tire pressure and it was 30psi. I removed the tire tube stems. put 4 oz. of sealant in each tube, re-installed the stems, and aired the tires to 45psi as shown on the tires. I checked the charge and it was about 75%. I charged it for about 3 hours and then I went "scooting". Wow! What fun to ride! I have taken numerous 1 to 2 mile short rides and everything has settled in well- brakes, throttle, frame and chassis suspension, tires, and stem and handle bars. Nothing loose or unstable. I am delighted with this scooter and think the quality is excellent. My dealings with FFR in purchasing this scooter was excellent!
As I continue to ride the scooter it seems to maintain battery charge well and has good acceleration. It maintains good speed up hills, and feels very stable and solid on the road. The highest speed I have reached on my rides is 23 mph. The scooter will certainly go faster but I am not ready for that yet- probably never will be! I highly recommend good protective headgear, good protective riding gloves, and a good protective jacket if riding faster than 25mph! A fall at that speed could be devastating to the human body!
