Although it got stuck in a shipping delay, I am very excited about my new scooter. It doesn't accelerate as fast as the Mercane wide wheels but it has higher top speeds and is a much more comfortable ride. I especially like the lights it has which make me feel very visible at night. The customer service at fluidfreeride has always been great, and while I've never had a water damage problem, it remains among my only concerns (other than theft). One recommendation to fluidfreeride is to keep a record of items sold and their serial numbers - it seems like a manageable thing, and could help with police reports if a scooter is stolen. One way of doing this is simply sending the serial number with an invoice or with an update email, and removing any further need to store the serial number.

I got my Apollo Explorer scooter in October 2021. Unpacked it and went through it. Noticed that both the front and rear wheels both squeaked when rotated by hand like a old rusty gate. Continued with setting the grips and throttle in position. Then powered it up. Gage worked fine. Went through all the settings. Powered up the LED lights. Then I noticed the deck light LED strip was out on the right side. Fluid free is going to send parts, but the parts are on back order. Hope they send instructions on how to replace these parts. Nothing like buying a new scooter just have to spend your time tearing it apart to fix new assembly defects. If I showed people my new scooter. I don't think it would inspire anyone to buy one. Scooter was defective out of the box, parts will be received who knows, and I have to repair it myself and hope it goes okay without causing any more issues. Hoping this won't void my warranty by fixing it myself with parts from Fluid free ride. Scooter did run. Rode it for a short ride just make sure there was no other problems. Front wheel did stop squeaking. Rear still does from bent rear brake rotor that occurred either during shipping, when packed in box, or was already bent before assembly. Spending almost a grand and half. I expected a more through inspection would of been done after assembly. Both mechanically and electrically. Though UPS can be pretty destructive when handling packages. I'll be glad when I have parts in hand with instructions and it's 100%. This is reason for my rating. Not an experience I hope most buyers will experience. No other offer was made other then supplying parts under warranty. So new, but not. You shouldn't have to fix something new.

It took them a week just to ship it, but customer service was polite. The scooter itself is amazing. It's a wild step up from my starter scooter. I'm definitely satisfied with my order.
