I had some issues with my first iteration of the Explore, was eventually sent a replacement, and the replacement works well apart from the stem loosening pretty frequently. Overall an upgrade from my previous GoTrax.

I just received this email because supposedly I received my scooter "some time ago". My order is now three weeks late, and no idea when is getting here. I spent over $1,200 and I'm still waiting.

Hi Magdalena - we are very sorry about the shipping delay of your Explore. As we mentioned in the shipping update, the container was only cleared for landing after two weeks of wait. The email you received concerned the folding lock which you ordered in a seperate order. Again, we would like to apologize for the shipping delay. Our support team will get back to your email inquiry asap. BR

Got the Apollo Explorer and it's got everything I needed. The guys are Fluidfreeride - specifically Chuck were super helpful in guiding me to the right scooter. And bonus that they also repair them if I ever need that.

Scooter order process straightforward. Warranty is not. Slow responses, a week into it for a simple bad tube. Flat tire a month into ownership (and 3 rides), bad tube. Online reviews shows cheap tubes and lots of problems with tubes with owners. They won't warranty it. Also, unclear on tube, tire and brake free replacements. One one hand, it shows those are all free, on the other, warranty says you have to purchase tube. Not smooth or customer friendly

Hi there - thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that you had a flat one month after your purchase. Please note that our warranty policy clearly states that consumables like tires and tubes are not covered by the warranty: https://fluidfreeride.com/pages/warranty-and-returns BR.

For starters, this would have been a 5-star review if the scooter had shown up in working condition. Now that I have spent a bunch of time fixing it, I like it a lot. Instead, right out of the box, there were quality control issues. The front rotor rubbed against the brake pads fairly severely, slowing the wheel and making a lot of noise. It seems unlikely that the issues arose during shipping, since the box was in perfect condition. Feels like there was little quality control on the scooter when it left the factory. Second, when I contacted the store about it, their response was fairly poor. They did send me a new rotor to try installing. They sent me zero instructions on how to safely do the installation and I was expected to find my own tools and just figure it out. In my opinion, for something safety related, like a brake and wheels, they should be providing torque measurements for the screws, at minimum. What about the lack of lock-tight for when I reinstalled the new rotor? Anyway, the rotor didn't fix it, I ended up having to watch YouTube videos on mountain bike brakes to figure out to adjust it properly. Overall, a disappointing experience to drop significant money, not get a fully working product, and immediately be expected to be my own repairman and spend time figuring out how to do the repair right out of the gate.

Hi there - We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. I just checked our communication and saw that, when we sent you the new rotor, we forgot to attach the link with detailed instructions on how to install it. We apologize for this mistake and that you had to figure it out yourself. When we did not hear from you after the rotor replacement we thought the issue was resolved. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out at support@fluidfreeride.com. BR

I entered the scooter world with the Ninebot Max, a very good scooter. I needed a little more speed, range, and insulation from potholes and rough roads. Enter the Explore. I've put my first 100+ miles on it, mostly with my daily 17 mile round-trip commute to work in Manhattan. I'm restricting myself to gear 2, because, well, 25-26 miles an hour is as fast as I need to go (scootering in Manhattan can be a bloodsport, and I want to live). Looking forward to watching the many maintenance videos and doing my first lube/clean/brake check this next weekend.
