Hi Peter, I've bought a Apollo phantom v2 few weeks ago. The kickstand already came off with riding on smooth roads, brakes have been screeching since pickup. Rotors seem to be rattling now Everytime I ride.

The most amazing scooter I've ever ridden! But it was a very impulsive buy, and I had to return it. Still waiting on my refund.

The phantom is an impressive scooter. Very powerful and fast. It is nice to have fun and commute with. Beware of the charging ports!!!! If the cap/cover of the ports touches the inside prongs in ANY way it will blow them up. Kinda terrible thinking to have a metal protector over a metal charger. Its easy to replace and not that pricey but I'm guessing that it was just so they can make a little bit more money off of your purchase. When you buy your scooter I would suggest you also purchase the complimentary free RUBBER charging port covers so that the problem doesn't happen. Enjoy the Phantom!

I purchased the Phantom V2 through Fluidfreeride since I read they have better support than factory direct. That has totally been true! My Phantom showed up in the box with a broken display (still functional) and a broken bell (who cares about that!). Jaun at Fluid got a replacement display Sent to me asap and it was super easy to swap it out. Now I've been able to scoot commute for 2 months and I couldn't be happier! I live in the PNW and take a ferry everyday to get to the island I work on. I was missing the ferry a lot due to car space & that increased my commute by 3 hrs! No Joke. The scooter gets me on/off first and there's never a ferry to full for me anymore! Wish I woulda got this scooter sooner! I also needed a scooter with some power since my hill home is maybe a 25% grade for 1/4 of the way. The Phantom tackles it at 28mph uphill! (I'm light with computer at 170lbs). Downhill is a bit more fun at 55mph and still feels like great control, although likely not recommended. Suspension and great brakes are a huge bonus over lower end scooters. I've tried a Hiboy, Ninebot & a Varla Peg. Although the Varla was nice, the Phantom has way more power, control and feels more sturdy. I was worried at first on reports of flats with air tires, but if you actually keep them inflated as required, they feel amazing to me and you gotta be doing something stupid to worry about them (imo).

I've been building electric bikes, boats & scooters for 40 years. I decided to simply buy one pre-built this time. I did a BUNCH of research. I wanted one with a chance at decent service if something went wrong. My decision come down to FluidFreedRide. At least they have a phone number.... and after a few tries they answer & are helpful. The email help works well, but it's 24 hours between mails. The Scooter itself: Awsome! I got the the APOLLO Phantom V2. My only complaint is, although the handlebars are adjustable to a point by swiveling them, they do not adjust up and down. I like low handlebars so I can lean into the corners. Other than that, great power, good adjust-ability. Not a child's toy! Even for an adult with zero experience I'd advise being careful. The acceleration is fast & firm. The brakes will stop you like NOW. Be prepared, start slow. Once you learn how.... WOW. Enjoy!
