Son loves this scooter. It tops 40klm an hour. Not bad! Saves on bus fare money too.

I have no baseline for this review so take it at that. I rode bicycles and motorcycles up to this point. I'm 6ft and 240lb. Would like a longer deck, but that is not a criticism as it seems as though all scooters are of a similar size. Pick up seems a bit slow, but again, I've no reference and mind the weight. Keep putting my back foot on the fender which is annoying, Apollo Ghost fixes this for double the price. Feels a little rough over terrible Chicago roads but again, terrible roads and no reference. It will take me to over 20mph with 20lb dog in my backpack, that seems like a pretty sold deal for the price. Easy to pick up and carry up the steps to my house. Used up twice in one sentence and I hate that. Turns are easy and feel comfortable leaning into them. I'll take a turn full speed without hesitation and that is a nice feeling. I've only rode it a few times but not much to complain. Would like a little softer ride but also have a Lexus and feel like that can be rough so take my comments with a grain of salt. Looking at the weight, speed and price of this compared to others on the market, feel like it was worth the money.

Bought my first city rider scooter a few weeks back and enjoyed it but wanted something a little more faster and longer with the commute so I ended up buying me a horizon scooter and wow gotta say this thing is what I was looking for! Very smooth and gets up when I need it too. Mary was definitely very helpful on all the information I needed and quick to answer my questions! Definitely not my last scooter from you guys! My goal is to collect them all.

I bought the 2 battery version to make my commutes easier as they are too short for a drive but too long to walk. I mainly use this to go to my physical therapy appointments for my knee. 10/10 I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to get some serious errands done around town or to just go down to the corner store to pick up a few snacks without wasting gas. The dual shock absorbers give the horizon a very smooth ride against curbs and driveway dips. My odometer reads that I top out at a speed of 23mph. But for 25 miles. I can get my errands done all around town fast and with ease. The horizon is fast, sturdy, durable, smooth, and overall... Reliable. Side note, the throttle is not consistent with the pressure that is applied to accelerate. For example. Slightly pressing the throttle does give the expected acceleration but takes a few seconds to kick in. Where as if I were to fully hold the throttle down, the motor kicks in instantly. This inconsistenty causes a very jerky "stop and go" experience for the first time. As a first time electric scooter user and owner. You would want to start slow. But you don't feel like the motor is kicking in. So you press a little harder until, VROOM! You're caught off guard by the instant acceleration. So naturally you let go of the throttle. The unexpected sudden stop causes you to jerk forward and almost fall to the side. So you press the throttle to gain speed so you won't fall over. But the motor isn't kicking in from you slightly pressing the throttle. So you press harder. But again...VROOM! Rinse and repeat until you gain a feel for the timing for varying pressures on the throttle. That was my first experience. After 2 miles. I got a decent feel for it. After my 30th mile. I started to feel very confident in riding. Aside from that first experience. The horizon is a 10/10 for me. I see myself using this for the next 5-10 years. I'm strongly considering buying a second Horizon scooter.

No scooter will satisfy all needs. Knowing why I needed a scooter was key. The Horizon has been splendid the first couple of weeks. I take a commuter bus/train and then use the scooter for 2 or 8 miles during each leg of my trip.It saves me $6 per day on using the subway and is alot more fun. It folds compact enough to fit under a seat or in the over head compartment on the coach bus with room to spare. Makes enough power for me and gets the 8 mile trip done in less than 30 minutes with lots of stop lights and cautious riding the entire time. My only complaint is the stem play which seems to be somewhat common among many scooters? If this type of use is what you need then the horizon is surely the one for you!
