At a max speed of around 22 to 24 mph, a range of 22+ miles, nice suspension, smooth ride, and very well built but light enough to load in my car easily, it's the perfect scooter for me. “I decided I wanted an electric scooter. I started my intensive Google search and came across the fluid freeride Horizon but not immediately because they aren't sold through Amazon so they are relegated to obscure land. typical, yawn. There is a ton of competition all in the similar price range with all the usual suspects, (name brands), claiming to be the top of the electric scooter pile and there are tons of positive reviews to back their claims so how do you really know ? Everything about their presentation and product line caught my eye so I looked closer. Their customer service reviews are impressive also. Then I came across this incredible "presale" price offer "coupon" putting the retail price considerably below the top contenders. What's the catch ? There isn't one. It is a gorgeous, well built, stylish scooter with a powerful 500 watt motor and in 3rd gear it absolutely flies propelling my 240 lb fat ass 22 miles an hour, and downhillish I have hit 30. It does well uphill also. it folds up well, and the next person who says 40 pounds is closer to the heavy side of scooterville needs to eat their wheaties. You want it a little more robust to absorb shock better and be substantial enough to hold you firm and brake well when colliding with well planted objects and some moving ones too. reality doesn't always cooperate like you expected it to so embrace the 40 lbs, trust me. The headlights and tail lights are space age and super bright and it's got a pretty cool speedo and thumb throttle and responsive adjustable rear drum brake lever too. The only complaint is it could have a better marked " the plug goes like this" external charger but you figure it out eventually! This is my first but far from my last fluid freeride scooter purchase but the hotrods always seem to be sold out but i'm not in a hurry. As of this review it's fairly new so I can't claim it's problem free but as for quality control just a good once over and everything is tight and where it belongs. When I get out of work and it's late and dark and quite, and the roads are empty, and the only sound is the wind rushing by me and the clack clacking of my tires battling old asphalt, and i've got the pedal to the metal so to speak on my one mile ride which goes by way to fast, I say to myself, self, I love this thing !”

“My Horizon scooter is everything I hoped it would be and more! It performs as advertised and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable and comfortable ride. I love the suspension it provides along with the three (3) different modes to run in for speed and mileage - they work so well I wish I would have purchased one of these long ago. The customer service is second to none...top notch! If I can ever refer someone to fluidride I certainly will. Thanks for the great support after the sale as well, you all are doing it right!
