I've had my Widewheel Pro for three weeks and ride it for commuting, errands and pure pleasure rides. I've been on it almost every day. Quick acceleration is what sets this beast apart. The torque in 2 x 500 watt motors is crazy! 26MPH on a scooter is plenty of speed. This is a serious toy that also makes adult transportation sense. The throttle is sensitive and for the first few rides you wonder if it is a bad match for the power of this scooter. But I think if you give yourself a little time to get used to it you'll have much less trouble accelerating smoothly. You have to learn where the throttle starts to work. Once you have a feel for that, you can hold a slow pace when you need to, and quickly accelerate to rocket speed when the way is clear. If you're using kick-and-go, get stable on the scooter before you hit the throttle. Pushing the throttle while you're kicking off is a good way to lerch out of control. I'll try the upgrade throttle when it is available, but now I can imagine I might prefer the original throttle with it's shorter throw if the upgrade's longer travel interferes with keeping a good grip. I'm wearing a full motorcycle helmet and protective gear that would be too cumbersome and hot on a bike, and having a blast on the way to work!

The thumb throttle lacks a smooth take off, due to the power of the motors, it doesn't cruise real well at slower speeds, so the cruise control has a hard time kicking in at a reasonable speed. It is gonna take some getting used to in sure. Beyond throttle problem, the fact that there is no key, or way to lock the handle bars in some way to deter theft is kind of a bummer. Of course using a regular bike, came lock is a no brainer, but would be nice to have another deterrent like a key to turn off etc. I thought the pro works have had this but mine does not. Kind of disappointed overall. Yes it's fast, but there's more to scootering than just plain speed. Bummer. Had higher hopes.

My wife and I rented two Lime scooters for a day last Fall while visiting family in Spokane. It was a lot of fun... I knew then I was going to have to buy us a set of scooters just for fun, "scootin" around town. As Spring approached I started doing a bit of research to figure out what I wanted to buy. With some "YouToobin" and "Googlin" I was quickly introduced to the 2020 WW Pro from FFR. It was love at first sight. These are simply beautiful machines, well engineered, and more fun than legally allowable. A bit pricey, but fun like this is worth every dollar. The acceleration, even in ECO mode is a "kick"...an absolute joy to ride. Power mode put's a BIG smile on my face. We live in a small mountain town, in northern NM. My commute to work is 5 miles one way, and almost all downhill (last mile plus is flat). I zoom by morning traffic using the bicycle lane (smiling all the way) and arrive at my office a few minutes sooner than if I had driven my car. I get to work and still have all five bars of battery life indicated on the display. And I arrive at work with a better attitude having enjoyed the ride and bypassed the morning traffic. Going home is another story, but equally as fun as this little machine impressively hauls my 197 lb butt back up the mountain, never dropping below 13 mph on the steep parts (total uphill climb of about 600 ft). I arrive back home with only two bars of battery life indicated (I do not have a separate charger at my office yet, but it's inbound this week). FFR delivered my order exactly as and when promised. My multiple email questions asked both before and after delivery, were always answered in less than 24 hours, with a couple same day responses. When my wife dropped hers and broke the right brake lever, I sent an email note inquiring if I could buy a replacement from FFR. The reply was apologetic that had a problem with one of the scooters, and they immediately sent me a message with installation instructions and shipped me a replacement part at no cost. I could not be happier with the customer service they provided. Best regards, Bret

Hi Diego - We are sorry that you had a bad experience. Once we have shipped an item, it delays the process if we try to make changes to the delivery process. Due to Covid-19 FedEx is also having problems in some regions. We are happy you received your Widewheel Pro at last.

Well I bought the "Wide Wheel Pro" arrived with the box destroyed. But nothing noticeably wrong. I adjusted the brakes. Took it on a run... Powerful with plenty of torque. To date (1week) I've put 100 trouble free miles on this beast. I love it...smiles for miles :) I have nothing but praise for customer service. If your looking for a powerful hill climber this is your 2 wheel drive Marauder.
