“I bought this scooter after searching for the fastest speed, longest distance, and lightest weight combination. My purpose was to find the best companion to stow in my single engine plane for solo journeys to small towns. I needed a good way to get around after landing. After my first ride, the Mantis has taken me to work every day, has given me joy on pleasure rides, and has accompanied me in flight to out of the way towns across the southeast. I guess it's clear ... I love it!”
“this scooter is very powerful, that's a fact, takes you up any heels. And very fast on turbo mode. That's about it for positivity.
Very heavy, once you set it up leave it, folding it is a chore and takes time. I got a flat tire on 2nd day riding it. Then waited a week to get new inner tube. Changing the tire is so hard, you better make sure you have all the tools otherwise you will struggle, like me. After this accident the company recommend to buy a sealant so I will never get a flat tire again. So I did, and 2 weeks later I got a flat again. Took 2 weeks to get a new tube as they are out of stock constantly. So having this scooter for 6 weeks I only was able to use it for about 3, the rest was waiting. I wanted to exchange for another scooter that doesn't have air filled tires, after first flat and they said it's a possibility but I should just get the sealant, after 2nd flat they said there is no way I can exchange it now as too much time passed by so I'm stuck. There is no front light, only light under the board. So people behind you can see you but you don't know where you're going at night. Horn is like a kid's bike horn, going fast noone can hear it so it's useless. Back fender is so short it is just a decoration. All dirt and mad goes all over your back. The steering handles are not foldable and very wide, so going thru narrow spaces and doors is not easy as you need to turn front wheel sideways, and carry the scooter. it has to be in up position because if it's folded you will not pass thru because of wide handlebars. If you want to buy it make sure you get all those extra things like light, horn, fender extender, extra tubes, tools etc, would probably cost you few hundred $ extra and lots of headache.”

I understand your issues with the size and weight of the Mantis. If your commute includes a lot of stairs and/or requires carrying around the scooter, a different model might be better. However, the longer range and higher power of the Mantis result in a more sturdy built and higher weight.

I was looking for a much longer range for trips and more acceleration and top speed combined with suspension for a more comfortable ride. This scooter delivers and is everything I have wanted. Only issue was that it took 3 weeks to arrive since there were some shipping delays. I am very happy with my Mantis. I added a horn and a 1200 lumen light for night riding.”

“I bought this scooter after hours and dozens of videos to make sure it was the right one. Its a fairly expensive "Toy" for me. Im 45 and love this thing! It is very fast and handles so nice. I have 450 miles on it and have zero issues with exception of a flat tire(its gonna happen eventually, not a big deal). It was a fairly easy fix, took about 20-25 min. But if I do it again it will only take 15 min at the most. Overall this is such a fun scooter. I look forward to riding it every time I do. Im in California & there are very few adults cruising these around but I love it. And now want a Faster one!!!
