I got the Mantis. The ride is indeed very fluid. The repairs are somewhat simple if anything goes wrong. I like this scooter.

I don't do reviews but if you scratch my back I'll scratch yours. When I had a question they got back to me in a reasonable Time and were polite. Now the scooter is nothing like I could imagine, very fast and really smooth while riding . Definitely want to wear helmet!!! The people crying about its to fast and heavy you can control the speed on the settings and weight well that's because of the batteries or you could go to Target and get you a kids ride lol

The scooter is fast and extremely powerful. The suspension is a little stiff for being a lightweight rider but is great for hopping speed bumps. It is a very light scooter for its class and easy to carry when folded. The split frame between the deck and stem was a great idea to throw a chain through it for locking up. I really appreciated the fast delivery and customer support when purchasing. If I had to list things that need improvement it would be the following: It needs a stronger stem as it is already loosening (half inch of play at the top), The rear wheel is not quite aligned and causes the deck to bounce quickly at high speed, And needs a headlight however the deck lighting is awesome. I have really enjoyed my time with this scooter and have recommended it to others.

Short&Sweet: My rotor gradually worsened, becoming more bent/warped and was sent a video showing me how to tune it back to 'normal'. Note that this is all within 40 miles of my scooters life. I do have my experience documented for anyone's concern (Code Zalo on Youtube). Although I somewhat feel this review is being written prematurely, its also important these instances are in here for the sake of improving the actual product, insuring all components are A1 and properly installed in the building stages, etc. Like the title states, its just one odd/unfortunate instance, a product I researched out of other options, didn't match the praise and tore the confidence that my excitingly purchased self had. Detailed: As I do believe this scooter is very capable, unfortunately, in my experience this wasn't the case. In my third mile, got the first rear flat on pavement not really sure if something was pinching the tube but Fluid offered to send another. I was definitely grateful for Fluid for having a solid response team for issues and concerns. I am currently in the process of going to a suggested e-bike store to see if they can help with my bent rotor. I do enjoy the Mantis when I ignore the serious underlying issue that affected my overall experience thinking I just need to tune the brakes and even upon its repair will have a light paranoia making sure nothing is going wrong. My front brake also hasn't had much tension compared to the right feeling one of the back brake. Overall, I definitely raise my eyebrows when i'm accelerating, wear my helmet and sometimes goggles when im on mode 3. If I'm chillin, switching down to mode 2 while in dual mode as well is a great way to extend your trip and enjoy the last days of summer. Suspension is bouncy but rigid, really does need some good momentum to actuate. Maybe over time they loosen up and you'll have avg 35 mph mini trampoline lol. I've noticed that after 15 minutes of full throttle on and off, stopping somewhere and watching the battery percentage go up a couple percent is pretty cool but you'll be using that to get back anyway so I'm not really sure if regen is present without changing any settings but will be experimenting the different regeneration settings soon(at least hopefully). With my excitement shot down, after the repairs, I should be using this as my city commuter. The weight of the Mantis isn't too bad, but I'm 5'8 225LB, live in apartment so isn't the most practical for extended flights of stairs. The only reason I didn't commit to getting a Sur Ron X was for that exact reason and it backfired on me, that being said, GET WHAT YOU REALLY WANT! This is a good OPTION.

This is a machine. If you get one of these make sure you get yourself protected. Riding one of these without a helmet or elbow and knee pads is like riding a Harley wearing flip flops. This is not only for the young adult. I am 69 years old and in good shape. I am using muscles I have not used so I get a little sore after a 10 mile run. Well built. Fast. Hold on when you hit the turbo button. When you are stuck in the house and the only option to move around is a car or walking, nice to jump on the scooter and let it take you where ever you want. Couple of things you have to do yourself. Get a mirror. Not knowing what is behind you is uncomfortable. Ear plugs, for the wind noise. Clear glasses for night time. All in all a great purchase.
