MANTIS 2025 - fluid Edition Legacy Trigger Throttle Display 18.2Ah - 33 miles range Reviews

Where to begin!!! The Kaabo Mantis is by far the BEST SCOOTER FOR THE MONEY. I've had my scooter for 7 months now, and I waited quite a while review it, due to wanting to provide a full experience review after 1k miles. I spent 40+ hours watching youtube videos, reviews, considering scooters and manufacturers: I decided with customer service being a HIGH priority, I decided FFR & the Kaabo Mantis were definitely for me. I initially had some communication issues that were mostly my fault, but WOW Julian and AJ really made life better. These dudes really care, and want their customers to enjoy their scooters to the fullest! I am a local miami resident and being able to go to the warehouse is a huge plus. First thing: Tighten the bolts and check your tire pressure OFTEN!!! The threading on these scooters can be sub-par from the factory, and while FFR does their best, these bolts can loosen while riding and need to be checked often. Loctite is your best friend! The Mantis is crazy!!! I'm 6ft, 230, and I've hit 42 mph but high 30's is pretty typical for max speed. The battery life in speed 3 tuning it at 40mph is never more than 20 miles but thats fantastic considering how quick you can get there The only few negatives about this scooter are the threading issues with the kickstand, and some other areas. I wish would the tires were higher quality, or we had more options, but I guess these ones will do. My original set lasted nearly 6 months before needing to be swapped. Make sure you tighten the bolts often as i said before, and make sure to slimne your tires to prevent flats. Tire changes are not too difficult, but you need to prop the scooter up on a box or something. There are two bolts that hold in the excess motor wire, and those have stripped on my scooter so changing a tire can be troublesome, but something that can be fixed Over all, 5 star service from FFR, and the Kaabo mantis is a BEAST.

Did I mention I only have the base model? I am going to sell and upgrade to the pro very soon :)

Thanks everyone at FFR!

upon getting my scooter I was very excited about it..I was worried about it not having solid tires but then I seen all the reviews .. I also searched for like 3 months solid it was coming down to mantis wide wheel or a different one... i was looking mostly at the solid tire but I went with the mantis all around the best!! I got it but was not able to use it.. I contacted customer support for another throttle trigger... After that got here it's been the best purchase I have made fast fast and awesome fluid free ride is the best in my opinion... awesome support and awesome service make it like no other .. Better than the best ... thank you for my mantis fluid free ride

This scooter is very comfortable and fas!. The weight isn't too bad but it's really no commuter in my opinion. If you are looking for a ride to lose some steam and enjoy some thrills, this scooter fits the bill. However, I do have an issue for the controller. I can't seem to nail down the accurate speed on this scooter. The speed reading seems off. I've tried both 15 and 20 for the magnetic pole setting and both settings don't seem to correct my speed reading issue. Yes, it's a bit of an irritant but I still really enjoy taking this scooter out for a quick spin around the neighborhood. If it wasn't' for this issue that I was having, I'd definitely rate this scooter 5 stars!

I am happy with the Mantis scooter, it is powerful, fast, easy to handle, a bit heavy also wish the battery would last longer but it is not bad at all, I have absolutely no regrets getting the scooter

I love my Mantis and taking it on a ride is something that I look forward to doing almost everyday. I was however considering taking off one star because both my friend (who also has their own) and I got flat tires within less than 100 miles of riding combined, and the inner tube size with the bent valve seems to be super rare. The ones ffr sells were sold out for the longest time. But they have it now, and I also got a thing of the Armor Dilloz because I tried slime and it did not work (which I am shocked because it was a slow leak).

Awesome performance , I really love it . Suspension is nice and smooth, going over bumps is no issue , I put about 150 miles on it in a matter of a week . It is built really well, and you feel very confident riding it at 30-40 mph.. I would say though on a straight path you top out at 38 mph, going down hill I did see 42 once . I don't think I would want to go faster on a scooter .. plenty of fun riding fast.. I experienced one issue though going over a speed bump once I lost power completely , I notice a small part , a curved metal piece fell out of the Accelerated trigger , Luckily I fount it after searching for it about 20 mins , since it is reallly small , once I put it back , it work fine again, I was going to order a new gages trigger, but after clueing it back in place it hasn't given me any issues. I'm still giving this review 5 star
