“In top gear the power in this scooter is awesome, touch the throttle and your away. So glad I bought this instead of an entry level scooter. This is built to last, really sturdy on the road and the full suspension gives a great ride.
The under-board lighting is really bright and makes you ultra visible at night.
I've cut my personal car journey's by 80% since I got it (weather dependant of course) so great for the environment to.
Only down side is I'd say this really does need an immobiliser of some sort, either a key or fob. But my overall view of this scooter is "I love it!" definitely spent my money wisely.”
“Been riding my scooter for about 2 weeks now and it is AMAZING. Everything I hoped for and more. My only compliant is that the brake handles are plastic and not metal, feels like for something that's $2k+ metal would have been appropriate. my front brake caliper is also rubbing a bit on the break, I'm sure there is a way to easily adjust it but I have yet to invest the time into fixing it.
I will say that the communication from fluid free ride wasn't 5/5. It's obvious its very much a Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm kind of thing, which feels a little behind the times and a touch "pikerish" (boiler room reference) in my opinion for a modern small business armed with electronic communications.
Overall tho they delivered a great product and I'm very happy with the purchase so far. I would def recommend to anyone wanting a serious electric scooter with that small caveat”

“As an experienced rider of an arsenal of E-scooters, The Mantis was my first scooter into the category of hyper scooters. True to the claims, it does reach speeds of 40 mph and at a full charge goes 42-45 mph. I have had the scooter for around a couple of weeks and have been using it to commute to and from my work which is approximately 3 miles away from my home; After finally reaching 200 miles on this scooter, I can finally give my most accurate review of the scooter... The scooter is built to last and to withstand what its made for. Its high speeds help you cross terrain and merge into road traffic with ease, with on demand speed modification to set the scooter to go 20, 30, and 40 mph with the press of a button, the base model alone and range from 30-50 miles of ride time depending on the speeds you go. Weighing only 60 lbs, it is the lightest hyper scooter out there on the market. As well as all the resources and customer service they provide is speedy and phenomenal! The only "con" I can think of is that one of their videos to set up the scooter is a tad bit outdated. The video to show that you need to go to Program mode 2 to set the proper display for the speed should be set to 20, it really needs to be set to 25 since the display model is a bit different. Other than that, the scooter is an easy 5 stars and is a bang for the buck! Hope this review helped those who are thinking of purchasing this scooter!”
“I got the scooter had no real speed. After doing some troubleshooting I found the front motor was fighting the rear motor. The front motor was rotating the wrong direction. Emailed fluidly they sent a link on how to open the deck and check the wiring for the motor. The front motor was wired wrong. After I corrected the problem the scooter was fine. The scooter is fast and running good now”
“I really don't know what to say. It's a blast! They probably need to update their specs sheet as I got the new 2020 Mantis BASE with the slightly larger battery 18.2 ah vs 17.5 ah. I also got the newest motors which have extra torque but less top speed(38) which is easily worth it as the accelerator can give you a smile at any speed as it lurches forward. I've put over 250 miles on it in two weeks and they've been brutal miles but this thing has taken it like a champ and I've had no issues. If I have to nitpick as others have said the fenders are basically worthless and I had the screws fall out on my first ride, must not have been tight, but FluidFreeRide has said they'll send me some replacements. Also if you're jumping like me you'd possibly want stiffer suspension as it bottoms out and when it does this it collides with the fenders, but for normal riding the softness is great smoothing bumps and making it a pleasant experience. You have to add your own headlight if you plan at riding at night at all as the ones it has are only for being seen. I'd also recommend slime or something similar to help prevent flats. Anyway, enjoy some pics!”
