Just completed my Elements for the second time and I still learned a lot about my body. Elements is a great program for basic strength, flexibility and control. It introduced me to a bunch of great new exercises that I now use as warm-up in the morning or before other activities. If I had to criticize one thing about Elements, it's that it was a bit slow for me to pick up. I was relatively fit and flexible to begin with, so it felt a bit boring in the beginning. However, I learned to find the challenges in basic movements and trusted the process. Over time I got rewarded with good foundational strength, flexibility and control that I can now build on in other programs.

I first did Elements at the beginning of 2020 and it completely changed my perspective on training and physical capability. I honestly think everyone should do it!

I had been weight train for a few years before I started this program. Some movements seemed to follow a great progression and I found I could in most cases complete each movement if sometimes only a few but at least I could build on that. However, at some point early on in the program, you are asked to perform the "monkey stall" and "frog stall" in my opinion this seems way too early and feel you should be looking just to slow the movement down at this point. In both these "stalled" movements you are attempting the "tuck planche" which I feel takes a lot more strength and should be nearer the end of the program. That said it's a great strength program and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

I have mixed feelings about the Elements. What is good: improved hip mobility, some fun with the movement, improved shoulder strength in the limit of the motion range. However: 1. The training has led to overloading my wrists and developing small injury. especially the stalling movements, frontloading the frogger and bear. The pain grew more and more until I have to stop with movements on the ground. 2. Also I do not think it is an entry program as advertised. It is exploration of four movements, not a balanced program to start with. Integral Streght is better in that regards, but it starts on a higher level. 3. The application just gets into the training. I cannot come back and repeat. For example, if I want to come back to the last training play part, I need to click through all preparation and practice. Or if I am in play part and want to come back to the tutorial in practice, I need to restart the course and click through.

Great program, balanced, and varied. Helped to improve just about all aspects of my fitness. I also really appreciate the flexibility in setting my own schedule and adjusting the duration/intensity on a day-to-day basis.

I started GMB's Elements for the first time in early 2017 after years of other exercise that left me stiff, sore and constantly managing injuries. I was frustrated with a lack of progress and increasing problems with my lumbar spine were plaguing me. I decided I needed a complete change of direction. After trawling the internet, GMB stood out for its light hearted, playful and 'this needs to fit into your life' approach and I committed to complete one cycle of the elements course to give it a go. Even just after the month of consistent practice, it had totally changed how I felt in my body. I remember finishing every session thinking that I felt better than before I started: more comfortable, mobile, in control. I slowly got to know my body better, became less clumsy. People around me noticed that I inproved how I moved and complimented me. I was hooked. I ended up spending over a year cycling through elements alone, before I then branched out to other GMB programmes. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try to change up their routine. Due to the approach Elements is seen as an alternative approach to exercise; I deeply believe it should be the fundamental starting point for everyone. Thank you, GMB Fitness! If you hadn't noticed, I am quite a fan!

I first came across GMB elements programs on Facebook. I tried the free pull up program from them first, as I already tried various different online programs from different groups with limited effects. I did the pull up prep for 3 weeks and I could do a couple full pull ups after that time. I am approaching mid 40 and I haven’t done a pull up that easily since I was 17. I had done various martial arts and gym programs during the past 20 years and none were as effective as these guys. I was absolutely amazed by the simplicity and effectiveness of the tutorial as I went from zero to hero in a short time. This gave me the confidence to join elements. I wish I joined this 10 years ago! All I needed was the floor and I have never ever felt this mobile and in control of my body since I started following the program, even compared to my 20s. With a very busy parent’s schedule this program fits me perfectly. There’s no need to drive and rush to classes , and I can simply wait for my kid to sleep before I do this. This has helped me significantly in daily life, whether it’s lifting bikes on and off the car, bike riding, holding heavy shoppings, bushwalking, indoor rock climbing etc, where the strength and mobility gained is transferable to daily life use. I just want to thank the team at GMB for this quality training program

I’ve been suffering from chronic back pain after a long military career over 20 years ago. I have been avoiding surgery for the last 2 years and that has been achieved exclusively through my practice of JMB and some very simple lifestyle modifications. I’ve also been a coach in strength and performance since 2000, and I’ve never come across such a basic complete system for helping people move better get stronger and feel the joy of movement. To express yourself without physical limitations is a true gift.
