“We purchased a new Hoselink to replace our 10 year old model which had lost it ability to lock while extended. The only issue I had was the change in the mounting bracket. We have a rendered foam house so any attachment to the house has to be done with spacers so the screws don't compress the foam. Luckily the holes matched but one had stripped. It appears to be holding but it could be an issue later on. Otherwise very happy.”
“A few design things: The spring tension is a bit too strong for Old People to drag fully out. Thse size of the full asseembly is qite a bit larger than the cheaper model it replaced. It didn't come with the standard hose adapter so it could be connected to a sprinkler. Also a bit more expensive than some of its competitors but I can see 'quality' probably justifys that.”
