The supplied masonry plugs are not always the most suitable anchor to use on some masonry walls. The location of the mounting holes for the wall bracket does not have sufficient surface area around the holes to enable an anchor such as a dynabolt to fit comfortably. I am not suggesting that dynabolts or similar be supplied.”
“It's a good unit as it ought to be at the price, but somewhere in the supply chain someone has let Hoselink down. The screws for affixing to a wall are poor quality cheap, soft metal, and they burr almost instantly. The screw heads are more like plasticene than metal, not hardened which they should be. I've seen this before and it's always a cheap alloy being used, probably imported, and the consequences are a major pain for the customer. And yes, I do know how to put screws into a wall in case you're wondering.”
