Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I accidentally ordered size 6 UK by accident. Thankfully the wellies come with great return guide and stamps already included. I sent it off the next day asking for size 9 and got the new size within 24 hours. Really good service and great quality wellies.”

“Extremely disappointed in the Le chameau wellies; my first pair. Previously purchased Aigle and decided to “upgrade” to Le Chameau. I wear my wellies A LOT; during winter, everyday. The absolute basic requirement is to be waterproof and after 2 days of wear, these are still waterproof- but I don’t expect them to remain so The rubber is so thin that the boots don’t even stand up on their own- so when you try and put your feet into the boot, it collapses! Very annoying- basically you have to sit down to put your boots on My friends laughed at me, as you could see my toes through the rubber- one bramble and these wellies will tear. They also wrinkle around my ankle so I can see that this will become a wear point I am Surprised that Le Chameau would release such a poor product. I will wear them until they leak and then send them back. Very unhappy”

“Hard to review when they still haven't been delivered. I went direct to Le Chameau in the hope of decent service. Ordered more than a week ago and still no delivery schedule or even an email update. Asking to write a review is the first contact since purchase confirmation. Hopeless.”
