Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I purchased this boot style about 25 years ago. It was only this winter that the back seam perished on one of the boots. The boots suit my foot shape and the top part of the boot does not gape. A snug boot and great for walking across waterlogged fields in the winter. I would thoroughly recommend and the boot protector too. A reasonable price for a boot that has the potential to last a lifetime! Good for the planet too - less landfill and resources.”
