Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

Our Iris boots are the lightest weight boot we produce but are still fitted with our cross sole which provides sure-footed traction and supreme comfort. This boot is made from our famous Chamolux rubber, this durable material provides the wearer with a flexible rubber wellington boot that can withstand the elements making it 100% waterproof. “I have given my blue boots 5 stars because they are beautiful boots. However, the largest size was a UK 8 EU42 and the fit around the ankles very slim and tight. Had I been able to get the boot on, I would have struggled to get it off due to the vacuum. I would love to be able to wear them as I love the colour. Needs to be: - available in a size 9 / 43 - available in a wide fitting with extra room at the ankle The boots arrived the next day and were beautifully packed in recyclable material.”

“A light weight wellie great for spring/summer. I ordered a 36 which is a good fit. They are a little wide forward r my slim legs, but otherwise really happy with them & a very pretty colour.”

“Absolutely brilliant wellies! Very soft and comfortable. I was a bit concerned about how they'll deal with my not so thin calves + jeans/joggers but it was not an issue at all. I wish I had them sooner!”
