Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I’ve had these boots for about a week, worn them every day over the fields in about 0 degrees walking the dog and they are very comfortable and warm, even though these are meant to be more of a wellie for the warmer seasons. Fitting is perfect for my size 37 and love the trendy pale blue colour. Definitely recommend!”

“These are so light and comfy. I am happy with them, however, I am 5'10 and the height of the boot I feel is a little short for my liking (2" shorter than my current pair of cheaper boots). .”

“My wife tells me that the boots are quite tight fitting around the calf, and that the material is a lot thinner than a previous pair of Le Chameau boots she owned. They are a nice looking pair of boots but I’m not sure how long they will last.”
