Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Delivery and customer service excellent. Unsure about the sizing as I am normally a 5 1/2 or 6 shoe size but ended up with a size 5 pair of wellies. Having said that the delivery and exchange process was excellent. I returned my boots to a local post office on a Wednesday requesting an exchange and my replacement pair was delivered on the Monday. Tired of wellies splitting/leaking so hopefully as these have a 2 year guarantee they will last.”

“I bought the light blue Iris wellies, hoping for a more comfortable fit than my Hunters, as I have Mortons Neuroma which means I need wide fitting boots. My Hunters are impossible to remove even with a boot jack, and slightly too unforgiving. I’ve been wearing these for a week twice a day to walk the dog and had I not worn them outdoors I would have returned them on day 1. Likes: beautiful soft rubber Gorgeous colour and lining Ease of pulling on & off Looseness of leg allows for jeans and ordinary trousers to tuck in Dislikes: narrower toe box and no reinforcement means my toes feel cramped - although the boot is easily big enough for my foot and true to size (39) No behind the heel support - the boots feel unsupportive and as if they’re going to work their way off my foot because they are unstructured (but of course they don’t!) The arch support feels non existent- almost flat”

“Unfortunately they come up way too large in my regular size. Given I am normally size 3 Uk /36 EU and no smaller size is offered, I wasn’t able to size down.”

“Love these boots. They weren’t my first choice but due to others being out of stock, I settled for these. I’m glad I did. Fit wonderfully, light and absolutely perfect for trudging the woods and fields with my dog. Le Chameau you have a new convert”
