“Ordered one previously. Foil trace was coming off board. Was a Christmas present so after not getting replies from customer support, just ordered a new one. The new one also arrived with green trace side not staying on board. Solder rings peeling before a Solder gun was ever near them. Crap, possibly bulk rejected product.”
“This kit was a big disappointment. The included solder requires so much heat to melt, it causes the foil to separate from the substrate. After completing only a few steps, there was too much damage to the circuit board to bother to continue assembling it. The only upside is that I've added lots of resistors, capacitors and other components to my parts box for possible future use. I'm an experienced kit builder, and this is the only one I've ever started that it was impossible for me to finish. I can't really recommend this kit, and I suspect that less experienced builders wouldn't have an easy time of it.”
