“Ok here goes, this is my first EDF jet, matter of fact my first jet. I got the optional landing gear with it also. But flew the first 3 flights with out them. It went together fast, but there are NO spars in it at all none in the wings or tail what so ever and she sure needs them. It is small and fast, has just elev. and ailerons, now for a guy that has flown rudder planes for 20yrs well a bit hard to get use to LOL, I about bent the rudder control off on my Spektrum LOL. She needed a ton of trim right and up but once I got that sorted she flew good and the throws I turned way way down and put in a ton of expo. The wind does make it dance a lot. Use power to land her and remember no rudder. After the first three flights and my buddy left that was hand launching her I did a DUMB A..S thing and tried to hand launch it myself NO NO NO.... busted her up, went home glued her back up and put the gear on. They went on easy and work great, I flew it 6 times today with the gear, of course had to rebalance and retrim her, but she is a sweet heart... small don't let her get to far out you'll loose her for sure. I'm using 3s 2200mah in her, yup a bit big but she flies well with them, cramped batt. compartment for sure. Oh I moved the ESC to under the batt. tray make hooking up to the esc a lot better, also ran the nose gear servo wire under the batt. tray... All in all for $100 a ton of fun..... I'm hooked on jets now for sure, get one and enjoy....”

“Since there are already so many reviews in english, I write in german language.Dieser Flieger ist der Hammer. ABER ACHTUNG.Die in der Anleitung angegebenen Schwerpunkte stimmen nicht.Glücklicherweise habe ich VOR dem Erstflug die Rezensionen gelesen und entsprechend vorgebeugt.In meinem Fall liegt der Schwerpunkt knapp 5mm hinter der Flügelkante.Ausserdem nutze ich anstatt des empfohlenen 1500er Akkus einen 2200er der zu etwa 1/4 bis 1/3 in die Nase geschoben, besser gesagt gequetscht wird.Zusätzlich habe ich die Kunststoffabdeckung des forderen Fahrwerkschachts vorsichtig gelöst aufgeklappt und 20g Blei eingeklebt.Mit geringer Trimmung auf Höhe fliegt der Flieger jetzt wie er soll.Mit 3S ist er gut bedient, aber hat auch keine Reserven. Senkrechter Steigflug geht nur mühseelig.Im Netz findet man aber genug Leute, die auch 4S auf der Stock-Konfiguration fliegen oder gar einen 70mm wemotec Impeller verbauen.Für meinen Geschmack darf der Jet allerdings auch nicht kleiner sein.Grenzwertig ...Alles in Allem ... ein TOP FLIEGER und empfehlenswert.”

“Nicely performed model. Easy assembly. Very good flying properties, if 1.900 mAH LiPo - battery is pushed forward to the nose of the plane as far as possible. In this case the position of CG is unusually far forward, but that´s how it worked (see also on youtube about that model plane).”

“F9f Panther by freewing easy build easy to fly I just remember to move the battery all the way forward in the nose and it will fly perfect every time the detail to the jet and the paint Scheme is Beautiful”
“The Freewing F9F is a blast to fly and looks great too. The colour scheme means that for me there is no problem with orientation even on grey cloudy days. Once you get the centre of gravity correct with your desired battery (I only use 3s 1800mAh all the way into the nose) and the throws and expo dialled in the Panther flies like it's on rails.”

“Experienced pilot, this is my third EDF. Followed the CG instructions in the manual to the letter. First toss the jet nosed up like a rocket, then spiraled into the dirt. Next flight, I took a 2200 lipo and shoved it ALL THE WAY FORWARD. As far as it possibly could go. Plane flew like a dream.30% expo on all controls, 25% aileron throw at low rate, 50% for aerobatics. Leave the elevator at 100%. Should handle well for you.Great price, looks good, goes together easy, and if you follow my advice this is a great first EDF jet.Two stars off for the manual being disastrously incorrect and not fixing the problem. Put the correct CG on a sticker and slap it on the manual cover. Is it that hard, Freewing?”
