Just tested the Freewing F9F Panther and an glad that I looked at some of the blogs and videos for this plane. The key to a successful flight is proper balance (I used a 3S 2250 mAh battery) and low control throws. Take off required no Elevator pitch, just full throttle on Geotext, and the plane lifts off when flying speed is reach and it's a gentle climb out. No trim was required and even with the larger battery, I had enough Elevator to flair on landing, although it took most of the Elevator to do it. The plane flies solidly but with the very short coupling between the horizontal stab and the wing, the plane is pitch sensitive with minimal Elevator input for level flight. Overall, for $98.00 plus $10.00 for landing gear, you can't find a better deal for a cool ducted fan that nobody else has.

Is gewoon een goede vliegtuig, jammer dat je zo veel moet plakken, zie het liever dat je de vleugels vast kan schroeven

F9F Panther 64mm EDF with recommended 3 Cell 11.1V 1600 mAh Lipo has less power for hand launch! Each second hand launch crashed so I made some modification with more fuselage space, 45A controler, 4S 2200 mAh and some LED lights - now it is such a great plane !Unfortunately new replacement fuselage that I ordered had some painting imperfections that are not covered by motionrc manufacturere`s warranty or any discount :-(More information and flights on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/CSI_Pilot/

Low quality model, terrible experience with hand launch given the CG vagueness.

Having so much fun with this jet, crashed it once ran out of battery flying to long lol.Now flying with a 3s 3000mah battery squeezed in the nose and detrum stabilizer receiver. Give it a good run before takeoff as it likes speed, looks nice in the air and lands great.

The first attempt at flight, it was tail heavy even with the 3s 1800mah battery pushed as far forward as possible. Though tail heavy it was still manageable. However I experience a brown out and lost all control, ending in a pretty extravagant wreck. I repaired it, used a 3s 2200mah and was able to get two successful flights before another catastrophic power failure. After inspection I realized the admiral receiver and esc were overheating. I ditched the Admiral, ordered a new fuselage and upgraded to a Spektrum AR630 receiver. I moved the esc from the factory mounted position to better airflow under the servo mounting plate. After several bench tests nothing overheating. Three successful flights and landings now with 4min flight times. Still a tad tail heavy just keep power up, and power into your turns.
