Underpowered— needs 4 cell speed controller and motor. Crashed from underpowered hand launches until a piece of junk. Might try to glue together and use a power system from a better powered crash harvest. (Part of the hobby, right?) If some had no trouble, great— my cg was on and had fresh battery- also not my first hand launch.

what a cool plane, love it already. First off, for me and probably most flyers, controls are very sensitive, way too much throw.First have a friend hand launch if you set it up per manual. First launch it rolled in the blink of an eye and went into the high grass. No damage, great. Cut the throws about 30% and tried again, again into the grass but the battery slid forward and was nose heavy. No damage again. Cut the throws another 30%, moved the battery as far back as I could, the magic was there.Great flight, fast, slow and anything in between. Flew great, can't wait to take it out again.

The weather was great today, so I took my P.15 out for its maiden flight. Another club member hand launched it for me. It nose dived a little bit right after launch, but not too badly. He threw it up some and fairly hard. That little thing is QUICK, both in speed and roll rate. Several reviews that I had read said to set the high rates where the book says to set the low rates and then low rate even less. I did that and flew it on low rates and it still does one and a half to two rolls per second with full aileron deflection. Pitch rate is much more docile, but still fairly quick. I flew it at 1/2 throttle or less most of the time and it was still a challenge to maintain orientation and stay ahead of it. The first flight was six minutes and had 70% battery left. The second flight was 8 minutes with 40% battery left. The last flight was 5 minutes at mostly full throttle and had 48% left. 1800 mAh, 3S battery.
