“To start: the aircraft looks and flys amazing, the build experience is qreat mix of build time, skill level needed and joy it brings, atleast to me. At first sight, no build quality issues have been uncovered. After the maiden, which due to pilit error on landing a wing dropped too close to the ground resulting in bent right aft gear, and bent steering arm on front gear. The steering arm on the nose gear is made from the worst material on planet earth, flexible but brittle chinesium, horror to say the least. After carefully bending it back, I decided to take off the gear leg with the wheel and the arm to inspect the retract itself. On the 5mm shaft from the retracts, there are flat spots form the factory. The leg itself is secured by two allen head screws, and the servo arm just by a single one, perfectly above one of the leg screws. On the said shaft, there is a small flat spot on side meant for one screw, and a big one on the other side meant for two screws above each other. Mine was mounted exact opposite, so the steering arm had no flat spot, it was turned 180° around being no for the steering arm use there... Next time I'll check that.... The shaft of the right aft gear bent, and when trying to band it back, it broke of course. Thsnk god I have a great grandpa, eho spent almost the ehole day making me a new one from better materials, unlike freewing being cheap ass... Thisnplane has many improvements over previous freewing ones, but still needs some. If you are deciding if to buy one, sure, do it, but check yours throughout after you get it...”

“It flies as advertised. Wesley’s tip on the gyro and ailerons was helpful. It also needed 20mm and 35mm on flaps deflection. I have 15 flights on it and I like it more and more. Great job to Motion RC and Freewing”

“It’s really what the 80 mm should have been. So many good things to say from the speed and power to weight ratio to the general handling to the built-in gyro. It’s still a good size plane but it’s not a behemoth like the 80 mm which I also have. Word of CAUTION: Biggest problem I had was the center of gravity. I flew initially with a SMC 4400 pack. Felt like it was balanced at the marked CG. Second and third flights turned out to have disastrous stall landings even at speeds I wouldn’t think would cause it. Turns out she was very tail heavy. I put a 5800 pack in it and readjusted some flap mixing and everything is great now. Bottom line is you want this jet to be a bit nose heavy. You’ll have the worst wing rocking/borderline unrecoverable stall you’ve ever seen if it’s tail heavy. Even with stabilization. My damage was repairable, but I obviously broke all the ordinance. They really need to take a look at the documentation and where the marked CG is.”
