“The plane is well thought out, Not to difficult to assemble.I set mine up as per Wes's video, and IT FLYS GREAT! Not a sport jet but as good as any scale jet. Good power on "normal' batteries [not HV], and handles as good with the wing swept as with the wings forward. I set three positions,and the changes in handling are small. Its a little floaty with the flaps down so keep a little power on landing. They worked to make it LOOK GREAT and then left out the rio? Other than that EXCELLENT! Best Tomcat yet!”

“This Tomcat is just the right size for me, and most important FLYS VERY WELL! Its not a sport jet but handles as well as any scale jet I have [F4, F16s, A10 ,Su30 ,Mirage 2000, Rafale, F18] And it doesn't change much with the wings swept.Still turns as tight as w wings out. I set mine up as per Wes's video except 3 position wing sweep.Excellent power and speed w/ "normal" Lipos [not HV] it's actually a little floaty w flaps down so don't let it get to slow trying to get it to sink for landing. Im flying from a 300 ft geotex runway having no problems taking off or landing,only gripes,no RIO, come on freewing ,really?and tail stickers are off a bit. By Far the best Tomcat Ive owed. Fixed the one issue...”

“The fit and finish are amazing on this bird. She was easy to assemble. I love how she flies, I would recommend setting up per the book then potentially moving to the set up Wes uses. Be careful she has to land under power but if you’ve always wanted an F-14 but didn’t want the flaws of the larger version this is your bird. I highly recommend! Great job Motion/Freewing!”
