The scale detail, fit, and finish are amazing. This bird flies well with the stock gyro, land the plane with speed, and invest in a 10-channel receiver so you can use reverse thrust. I truly enjoy this plane. If you were wanting an F-14 but the larger version wasn't for you then this is your version.

This is what we all hoped the twin 80mm Tomcat would be! It's incredibly balanced thanks to only needing one 6S pack that can rest behind the root of the wing. I'm flying mine with packs ranging from 5200s 6200mah packs and is not impacted at all by the extra weight. Flight times are ranging from 3.5-5 minutes depending on pack size. Freewing hit a grand slam with this bird and it's a must have in anyone's hangar

I think this is by far the best RC representation of the iconic F-14 the market has seen. Fit and finish of the jet is super good. It just looks super nice. The assembly is super easy and the construction is really solid. The twin 64mm fans are more than powerful enough and all the maneuvers you can think of are easy enough to pull off. The wing sweep is solid in flight as well. No stability issues at all. Just reduced maneuverability as expected. Of all my edf jets though this one is probably the trickiest to land. It likes to land with the nose up and with some power, but don’t get the nose up too high or a wing will depart. Finding the perfect attitude and power to land is more challenging with the Tomcat. Overall, I think this jet is a must have for all edf jet pilots.

It’s hard to believe just how nice these jets have become. Right out of the box. I haven’t had time to assemble it yet. Very nice indeed

Second flight, one EDF started to surge faster than the other during take-off. Yes, I calibrated the ESC several times. Then the EDFs level out or go back into sync. The pilot proceeds make a couple test passes, including the last one with the wings swept back. During the swept wing pass, the right wing ONLY began to sweep open on its own and went into an asymmetric stall. The plane was being flown by one of our most experienced pilots, who has years of experience including turbines. You can see the video on my YouTube.

I have not taken mine out to fly just yet, but it is beautiful. Everything went together easily. This 64 mm twin EDF is scale and very nicely designed. I hope it flies as good as it looks.

If you have been wanting an F-14 but the twin 80 seemed daunting to you and honestly the flaws seemed more than you wanted to tackle, this is your plane. It takes care of the flaws of its big brother. The premixed gyro makes flying and setting this up so easy. The detail, fit and finish is second to none. the gear are strong and the twin 64's pack a punch. It is a fun plane to fly, my only caution is it has to land with power because of high wing loading. Which is minor if you are aware of it. I highly recommend this plane for the avid Tomcat fan!!!!!
