“This is one of Freewing's better efforts and I have had a lot of their edf's. Almost effortless to fly it and land it It does tuck the nose with full flaps so be prepared or mix some up elevator. While the scheme is pretty, grey can be hard to see in the air, so keep it close. Just ordered the arf plus to put a turbine in it but will be painting it blue and yellow to get contrast to stay oriented”

“Maidened today.Slight 8kt crosswind95FSMC 5300HV ( that's 4.35v/cell) More mahBatt registered at 3.8 V/cell across the board.Spektrum NX-10 with 8020T RX.4:17 plus about 35 sec for taxi out and back taxi.Initial setup was: 100% High rate 80% Mid Rate, 70% Low rate Expo : 30% for everything2nd flight: Bumped up High rates on Aileron to 115%, Mid rate to 90% Expo Cut it back to 25% For rudder I use 100% expoNot one click of trim needed,I've owned many EDF's over the years: Freewing, FMS Eflight, Hobbyzone. FW A4, FWA6, FW A-10, Eflight 80mm F4, FW 90mm F4, Stinger90, F-86, FW-L-39, FW T-33, FW 90mm F-22 FMS Rafale, HZ twin 64 Mig29, FMS Futura 3, FMS 70mm F-18, FW 70mm Red Arrows, FW 70mm Yak-130, 70mm RC Lander f9F-Panther,Eflight Viper 90 and a bunch of 64mm's. Blah BlahUp until today I felt that the Eflight 90mm Viper ruled the skies as the best edf ever made.By my own proclamation the new Cougar now takes the crown as GOAT!One awesome plane. Very well thought out and eloquent design, attention to detail, scale fidelity , fast as in135mph fast . Very stable flying slow or fast. Plus its supported by Motion where unlike Horizon, you'll still be able to get parts in the years to come.Very impressed so far. Thanks Motion !”

“Assembly of the Cougar took less time than setting up the control throws.High quality kit as expected, no surprises during the first flights. Spot on in all 6 DOF and lands like a cat with tender paws. Only use the reverse thrust to amaze the boys.Need MORE birds like this.”

“Everything perfect out of the box. Connected AR8020T, set controls up as shown in the manual, including flaps, set up reverse thrust and gyro per instructions. Maiden required one click down trim, and it was hands off stable. 5 minute flights common with the recommended Admiral 5100mah, 70C 6 cell battery, landing with 29% remaining. Landings are the best of all my EDFs. Six flights so far. Highly recommended. I would even say this one could be used as a first jet for those wanting to get into flying EDFs.”
