“Like many others here I purchased this nose strut to replace the nose gear on the Carbon Z T-28. It’s a perfect fit and a big upgrade. For anyone interested in doing the same replacement you must purchase a pin that connects this strut to the electric retract in the T-28. You can find them on eBay at 5mm(thickness) X 60mm(length) that come with a groove for an eClip to hold the pin inside the retract. The groove just needs to be dremeled deeper to accept the original clip on the T-28 gear or any 3mm (approx) eClip. (Due to the retract housing only having room inside for a smaller clip)Once that’s done you grind flat spots on the pin to hold the steering arm and this new strut. This is a great working and quality suspension strut, especially for the price which includes wheel and tire.”
