Quality is excellent but no installation instructions makes it difficult to figure out which way it installs. Wrote motion and got two different answers. Discussed this on hobbysquawk and figured it out myself. I think I have it right, flying will tell.

Good quality, is just too bad that Freewing put an inferior gear set on a very expensive plane and customer have to waste time and money on upgrades. I have not mounted yet but I am prepared for the fitting problems others have mentioned.

This nose gear strut does not work as a trailing link. It is improperly designed and obviously not tested as a trailing link. If a force is applied from the front of the wheel (as if it hits a bump or runway lip), the shaft is pressed back in its tube and it locks up. It should be designed with an outside spring and a pivot - just like the stock main gears.

Widely reported on RCgroups and other forums - this actually doesn't fit. When fully compressed, the wheel hits the gear door. Ooops!
