“The quality is outstanding. I used this for a different plane that needed better nose gear. The spring is very stiff (probably perfect for an A-10) but it was very easy to replace the spring with something more suitable for my application. This is now probably the strongest part of the whole plane.”

“This is an excellent strong piece of gear, but mine was VERY stiff and seemingly over sprung. It took a LOT of force to move the wheel up and absorb shock, and sometimes seemed to be rubbing against something inside when it didn’t want to move much at all. I was using it on a 12lb model and it just wasn’t working the way that it should. Don’t know whether this is one off or something to do with the geometry/engineering. Recommend you try working it in the shop first before you install to see if the force required seems right for your application.”
