“This is a nice upgrade. It tends to put a bit less stress onto the retract pin (which breaks easily at the flat cut.). I also noticed this tire was a bit different and “softer” material than my original. Installation took some gear up and gear down work and some pencil tipped soldering iron application to get the original strut off due to good Loctite used. I used this with the original main gear struts and it all works quite well if the airplane CG is back to allow nice landing touchdown on mains with the nose staying up a bit.”
