“Hands down, one of the best fliers motion and freewing have released to date. It was worth the extra two week wait (would have had mine sooner if it weren't for my luck, haha). However, as with all my freewing jets, almost all of the connections were half way plugged in. The overall finish on the jet; the gold lines are not as clean as they could be (overspray). Also, is there really a need to have the retracts on a ~4 second delay? The manual could use some proofing as well, as the cg is close but not exact Otherwise, this jet is my favorite of the collection I have (rebel, a10 64mm, scorpion, f14, f22, f4, and now f18. And there are more than one on some of those).”

“Total of four flights two on stock 6S setup and two on upgraded 8S setup (setup from F4 8S). The first two 6S flights were lethargic at best, just enough power to keep in the air, along with a very mushy flying jet no vertical performance to speak of. Second two flights better fell due to slight speed increase but still no real performance. In my opinion they missed the mark on this one, not worth spending the money. They would have been better off to design the jet around two high performance 70mm fan units and two individual air flow paths for each fan. (just my two cents and yes I fly other Freewing products which I'm very happy with)”

“This jet is beautiful! Great fit and finish. Assembly is easy, though I did need hemostats to fish out the aileron connector. Watch the cg, it is nose heavy. Be absolutely sure to have up Ele trim as shown in the manual. Also use high rate Ele on your maiden to make it more comfortable when you trim.Great buy from Motion!! Best customer service around!!”

“Haven’t gotten to maiden flight yet due to mine coming with a bad left servo for the elevator, had you guys send me a new one and in the manual it says the left elevator is reversed.. well with my jet was put together wrong or the manual is wrong so had to wait for another standard servo to get shipped to me.. so far still have been able to fly it. Hopefully this weekend.”
