“This is a follow up after 3 years of flying the SeaFury.It has taken awhile to get the landing technique right to avoid nose overs, but now I seem to have mastered it and generally have a satisfactory experience. I fly off grass which is not always the smoothest surface, I avoid using flaps and fly the aircraft to land in a 3 point attitude with a small amount of throttle this seems to work well, it’s also important to check the undercarriage wheels are parallel, mine were not originally and this contributed to the nose overs. I found it quite unnecessary to add additional nose weight and would advise against it. I enjoy the aircraft so much that I have a spare for when the original reaches the end of its life. In all it’s been one of my better buys and the support from Motion is excellent.”

“I was speechless of the paint job and overall quality out of the box. I immediately replaced the motor with FMS 900KV and upgrade the esc to skywalker 80A. I run in on 5s and it's a speed demon. The CG is bang on with 5S 4000mah GNB Lipo. Hands off flying inverted. The only complain is the landing gear. Port side retract servo broke off, the pitot tube caught the grass and chipped the foamie. The wheels and the rods are excellent though. I cant complain too much, retract broke off after 10 flights, and it was a rough landing. Apart from retract everything else is excellentI still dont understand why it's discontinued. It's an excellent plane and a rare model. Fuselage and wing replacement parts are not easy to get for people outside USA. It's a worry to me”

“This FL sea fury is the best 1200mm plane I have ever had in my collection. Striking paint job, decals and foam quality. I have ZERO issue out of the box. The only down side is it doesn't have navigation LED. And I cant believe they discontinued this model. Too many mustangs, spitfires, corsairs, etc. But sea fury is rare. I would love FL to make sea fury Riff Raff like Avios did. I have no doubt the quality will be top notch”

“good except . spinner is way out of round.can not fly with nose cone of spinner on.with back plate &prop assy is ok.ordered an extra one ,wound up using the back plate from one and the cone part of the spinner from the other one.still out of round afraid to fly with complete assy. ok with back plate assy only.”
“Great detail. Went together per instructions very well. Put admiral 600 gyro in but left aileron didn't work lucky I had a spare. Prop wobbles & wines but plan on putting upgrade motor in(don't trust stock motor even though it will run. All in all well worth the money. Thanks again Motion RC.”

“If this sits in my office and I never fly it I’ll still be perfectly happy because this thing just looks cool! The build quality was amazing as well! Everything fit together perfectly and I was surprised at how much was already done. It includes an instruction manual but you really only have to complete just a few steps, all of the tedious stuff like mounting servos, the motor, and landing gear are already done.”

“Tried flying it took off but did not get enough power with the motor it came with and the recommended battery and stalled even with full throttle now its unflyble and will cost a bit to get it airworthy again.”
