“First off, I love to collect and fly Luftwaffe warbirds. I first had the V1 FW-190A (and flew it until it was worn out and replacement parts were no longer stocked), then I bought a V2. After many, many flights of my V2, I dumb-thumbed it and totally destroyed it. I love this aircraft so much, that I'm going to buy another (as soon as it comes back in stock). I don't fly many 1.1m-class warbirds these day (preferring 1.5m and larger), but this 1.1m-class FW-190 is one of the best 1.1m warbirds available, IMO. It's a rock-solid aircraft with great performance and handling characteristics. It's joy to fly on a 4S-3200mah battery.”

“The Aircraft is very detailed, the additional Drop Tank and plastic guns are a welcome addition to the aircraft. The fact that the plane is screwed together is nice. The reason for the 4stars is because she has not flown yet. I do wish the livery choices were adhesive backed stickers rather than water slide transfers.”

“Fit and finish is great.However the water transfers decals are worthless. They rip easy and should be vinyl so the owner can easily install. We shouldn't have to order proper livery from Callies graphics for 30 dollars. Please update to proper graphics.”

“The model went together well. I used a monokote iron on low heat to make the decals bond to the surface. Now that they are on securely, the model looks great. (I didn't trust myself to apply the red fuselage band without it having wrinkles, so I painted that part.) The landing gear are shorter than scale. So they don't look quite correct. But the handling on pavement is a BIG improvement over the older version. My old one had too much toe in (that I never was able to correct well) and so it always handled like a pig on ice skates after landing. It did handle well in moderate grass. It looks great in the air, but it is not quite as stable as I would like. I may try a bit more nose weight. It balloons up when the flaps come in, but it settles for a nice touch on landing if you keep some throttle in and fly the wheels gently to the pavement.”

“Bought this 190 about 2 months ago but because of either work or weather conditions I couldn't get it in the air until yesterday. Went down the runway beautiful took off perfectly,then the rudder control surface broke away from the rudder and lodged it's clevis between the stabilizer control surface and the fuselage yanking it down fully. The resulting crash after 3 seconds or so of flight.......devestating. Now I have the most expensive collection of foam pieces I've ever purchased.....sad and embarrassed.”
