“This plane is fun from the get-go. It is a nice looking plane. Great detail. It is quick, even with the stock set-up. As has been mentioned before, ease into the throttle. It has a lot of power. As long as you are aware of this, take-offs are a breeze. Landings are even nicer. The plane slows right down with flaps and settles down beautifully. WhileIn the air yesterday the wind began to swirl a little with gusts from 13 - 19 mph, but I was still able to set the plane down cleanly on our grass field. It is very responsive. This plane is perfect for a grass field with the forward rake. To improve landings even more, I added 2.75 Dave Brown wheels. There was no cutting needed to get them to fit into the wheel wells. The only issues were a mis-set aileron servo, which was easily fixed and after only 4 flights, the paint is beginning to chip around the battery compartment. Other than that, I highly recommend this product. It is fun. I now have 5 Freewing/Flight Line products and I am impressed by all of them. As always, the Motion RC team was a pleasure to deal with.As a result, I will be ordering the FL Sea Fury in short order.”
“Product shipped quickly and in perfect shape along with the extra Admiral batteries. The assembly was easy however the directions for hooking up the receiver were non-existent and I needed to reverse program all the servos. There are plenty of decals to work with if you want to customize the look of the plane. The maiden flight went great with only minor trim adjustments. Absolutely no need for a gyro. This plane has plenty of power with the stock setup and unlimited vertical. The flight characteristics are solid an any speed and landing with full flaps on dirt or grass is manageable. Landing with out flaps is very fast all the way to the deck. I have 5 full flights now and a dozen touch and go landings on grass and pavement with no sign of any problem with the gear. The batteries I'm using are Admiral 4S 2500 and after 6 minutes of a typical flying it will leave me with 30% of a battery charge. The FW-190 is now my favorite war bird. Excellent buy!”
