To be fair, I'd like to list the cons on this plane first , ok now that I have them out of the way,the pros:Faster than you would expect on 4s 2500 Admiral Pro 50c.Strongest main gear set I've had on any plane.Nice predictable root stalls as opposed to the dreaded tip stall, no bad habits. This plane will yaw a tad on take off, but doesn't tend to roll over and crash like my P39 and 152 , nothing wrong with those planes , just tended to nose over due to my inexperience, but yea, I think this 190 is much more forgiving to a newer pilot.Holds corners (tracks well) great, inverted is nice, knife edge is not the best , but not what this plane is really for, I'd like one plane to do it all but there really isn't oneso far as I can see. This plane is a stunning beauty in detail and paint scheme , looks great in the air,be careful though , it will get away quick, I darkened the top camo spots, and put an obvious cross on the bottom to help with orientation, Gray alone against most skys can get me in trouble lol.....I have the battery full forward, with a 1/2 oz, / 19 grams just forward of the battery, glued to the foam above, I might be just slightly leaning nose heavy, I tried neutral cg and had too much trouble with landings. Does not seem to over heat , some of my other planes out here in the hotter climate do , the battery bay is fantastic.Overall , this is by far in my top two of my plane inventory, may up the esc and try5 or 6 cell, but 4 cell is plenty for super quick verticals, and fast passes.I'm still at just 70 high rate, with 33 expo, had started with about 55 dual and 35 expo, then bumped it up, I have elevator with more authority than ailerons, ailerons, might be down to 60dual or 55, then again rudder needs plenty 'rate' (100 for me) so I can taxy and roll out against crosswinds. One last thing, on take off, I start with a little elevator (not too much or look out on any plane) throttle up like easy 3 or 4, 5 ft, then heavy steady increase to about 1/2 and keep 'easy' but steadily pouring it on from there, and as she gets up, don't kill the elevator right away till I'm 30 ft elev but just easy-easy back.Buy this plane , you'll love it!

I'm writing this for any beginner warbird pilot. You've already heard what a great plane this & how easy it is to assemble. So, I won't continue with that. Instead I wish to tell and warn of my fun-est & sad-est day all rolled into one. It flew great on the maiden flight (very responsive) I then moved all the servo control rods from inner-most hole on the surface control horns to the outer-most hole. This resulted in much more manageable flight characteristics. But as a beginner, I never pre-tested the range of my transmitter. Well, needless to say,... my heart sank as I realized I no longer had control this beautiful 190 and watched almost as if (in slow motion) as it nosed over & pile-drived itself straight into the dry lake bed at 3/4 throttle. So,... beginner beware! As far as my experience with Motion RC, I'm very happy. I love the customer service & tech support is second to none in my opinion. I will definitely continue shop here. In fact, I just happen to be in need of a FW 190 nose cone, prop assembly, & fuselage. ha, ha. That was a SAD ha, ha. Anyway, at least the parts are affordable here. I hope this review will save another from this fate. Good luck to all, Dave

I've had several foam warbirds, of various brands, including the Freewing version of this plane. So far, this is my best purchase yet. The paint scheme is great, and the build was super easy. So easy, in fact, I didn't even open the instructions to assemble the plane. I installed the receiver and Hobby Eagle 3-axis gyro first, then the wing (to connect the servos right away), removed the prop (safety!) and powered her up. With all of the servos zeroed and sub-trims set, I installed the pushrods & clevises. Do the flaps first (lined up with the wing root), then the ailerons lined up with the flaps. It's the fastest way to get everything set level. The elevator pushrod was set too long to attach to the horn, so I had to loosen the lock screw on the servo horn and slide it forward. Don't forget to cut the excess rudder and elevator pushrods off, so they don't hit the ESC in flight. The decals are great, too. I used the Yellow #5 scheme...because Yellow #5 is in all of my favorite junk food. The CG is supposed to be at 85 mm. With an Admiral 4s 3000 pack all the way forward, it balances level at approximately 87-88 mm. With a 4s 2200, it balanced at approximately 90 mm. I didn't have any stick-on weight, so I maidened her with the 4s 3000 and hoped for the best. Per an online review, I used a little less than half flaps for take off - to keep it from trying to nose over. It worked great, but be careful not to get airborne too soon. On high rates (75%) it was a bit pitch sensitive, and it did feel a touch tail-heavy. With a few clicks down elevator, it flew straight and level...and FAST. Any warbird maneuver you want it to perform, it will. This is THE fastest, most maneuverable foam warbird I've ever flown. It's very forgiving of too much input, as well. If you want smoother/scale-like flight, reduce your throws to around 60% (30% expo). Landing was straight forward, reduce throttle until the AOA looks good, a tiny flare just before touchdown, and throttle off once rolling. Using the 3000 pack, I get five minutes at mostly half throttle (with a few full-speed fly-by's). Believe me, half throttle is plenty. The only negatives are that it's so light it's hard to land in a crosswind, and the wheels are VERY noisy. BUY THIS BIRD!

I LOVE THIS PLANE AND THE FLIGHTLINE WARBIRD FAMILY,THESE PLANES ARE ALMOST TOO NICE TO FLY (ALMOST).RIGHT NOW THESE ARE MY FAVORITE .I DO LIKE HAVING FLAPS AND QUALITY HAS NOT BEEN AN ISSUE FOR ANY OF MY PLANES YET, THAT BEING SAID I WAS SAD TO FIND OUT THAT THIS MODLE DID NOT COME WITH THE (BLUE 13) DECALS FOR WALTER DAHL BOMBER IN THE CROSS-HAIRS DECAL ! THAT WAS HOW I WAS GOING TO SET MODLE UP AS. OH WELL,MOTION R.C. IS THE BEST TO ME (NO JOKE ) YOU CAN'T GO WRONG

Got it three days after ordering and for free shipping you cant beat that. looks great out of the box, I like the option of the three decals, assembly is a breeze the manual is ok but not great, NOTE in the manual it says to check the cg with the gear down don't do this, balance it with the gear up because the flying cg is with the gear up when you put the gear down the cg shift a little towards the nose. pretty much my only complaint is that sometimes when im landing. The flaps work great on this plane by the way. sometimes i am on approach an the left landing gear is stuck in the wing so i have to go gear up and down just to get the left landing gear to comedown. other that that she flies great its fast and agile.

Ordering through MRC was easy! Shipping was quick! Build was a breeze (sticker selection to allow for different versions was very nice...although it did add time to the build). Now to the fun part, the flying. This bird is fast and requires lot of attention (no more attention than any other fast plane). Just didn't want you to get off guard thinking this was a docile plane. Extremely fun and exciting to watch carve the skies. Details are impressive. The only minor 'ding' I could think of is that it did require some trimming (even though all the control surfaces appear to be neutral). And because she's fast, you need to be cautious during the maiden. So in the end, you may need to apply a little bit of sub-trim to your transmitter. But because this is a process you have to go through with any plane, I still gave it 5 stars!
