“Upon receipt, one retract worked intermittently. MRC was very quick with a replacement. During maiden flight, the plane took off great and trimmed out quickly. Then the sticks went dead for about 10 seconds. Once signal was recovered, I was able to make a rough landing in some tall grass. Minor cosmetic damage wasn't too bad. Second flight had the same problem, resulting in another grass landing that popped the landing gear housings out of the wings. Gear still works after some hot glue. The signal loss is strange to me. I use the same Spektrum TX/RX on a P-51 with no issues at all. I sent MRC a notification of my faulty ESC suspicions almost 2 weeks ago and have not heard a reply. Maybe the holidays have them backed up. Up until now, I have had nothing but great things to say about MRC.”

“After about 10 flights I must say i am very happy with my purchase, shipping was quick, plane arrived in perfect shape. assembly was very straightforward, plane was very tailheavy added 2oz in the nose with admiral pro 4s 2500 battery all the way up front. decals dont do the model justice, undecorated the plane looks sweet, but the decals peel easily. not going to take a star away also there are trailing edge flaps on it and the real one had split flaps, not a huge deal im not a super scale kind of guy, but lets get in the air; ground handling is very good no bad habits and very good rudder authority on that scary "tail up" transition on takeoff, scale takeoffs very easy to do. manual reccomendations for airelon throw were waaaaaay too high for me so i dialed them down and after i got my heart rate back to normal, took off again and it flew perfect, flies gently when it needs to and can be very agressive if you want to tear the sky up, no gyro in 9mph winds plane doesnt get kicked around at all. flies like a truck in the sky this thing has so much power. landings coming down is very easy even without flaps but like all warbirds keep the turns pretty wide and keep your power up, or there will be trouble it stalls very quickly on no power, you really need to fly it onto the runway. awesome size battery compartment too sweet plane absolute 5/5 if i obliterate it would definetly order another one. however i would tell beginners this is not the plane for them.”

“This is a great flying model. Assembly was straightforward and quick. I have flown it on 4S 2200s, 2500's, and 3000s. Very docile on landing and take off. Stalls are predictable and straightforward. I own the p-38, Spitfire, and Bearcat and this is by far the fastest.”

“I've had this butcher bird for a little over a year now and I've probably put around 60 flights on it. I prefer to fly the bigger birds but this FW-190 is great to take to the park and just have some fun. Very quick and easy to fly. As a scale guy however, Im super disappointed to see that they chose not to add scale split flaps on this model, but glad they put flaps rather than just not adding them, while you dont really need flaps to land or take off with this FW-190 it does make flying at slow speeds easy as pie. Also cosmetically, just after a few flights the decals started falling off, this plane looks a mess, but flies great.”
