“I bought this as a winter hack as don’t like flying my best planes on muddy strips. Very good detail and easy to put together. Flew it a few times with 3 bladed prop and then invested in the two blade conversion. Wow, much improved performance. Went up with my mates 20cc Spitfire and was running rings round him.”

“It's a Ta-152H! If you play War Thunder, then you know this is the Nissan Skyline of the WWII fighter world, simply bada*s in every way and highly coveted. The inestimable Prof. Kurt Tank's ultimate fighter design. I think Freewing nailed the look, and the build quality is all around excellent. I did have to do the typical strengthening required of these foam kits today, namely the wing servos had to be reglued (I use non-silicone caulk), but once verified safe-for-flight, Day 1 at the field was a great success. It helps to mix throttle/rudder, and you only increase power as necessary to smoothly takeoff - never stuff it to military setting on the roll. Just like the real bird! I find it flies like a pattern plane, laser straight, very fast and highly predictable. And it likes slightly more landing speed than that long aspect ratio wing suggests, even with a correct c.g. adjustment. Hold that tail down through the roll out as well.Oh and did I mention, this is the incredible Ta-152H??? It's like showing up to a weekend car show filled with Camaros and Mustangs with an ultra-rare Porsche 959. The plane simply exudes lethality and exclusivity. Although, maddeningly these WWII German planes never come with the "correct" marking on the vertical fin, who knows why. Easy enough to add though. So hurry and add this highly desirable kit to your stable, we are lucky Freewing offers the design! Now if we can just get them to build a 90mm YF-23 . . . hmmmmm.”

“This is my third one, love the looks but still learning how to take off consistently. I the air she flies marvelously. However she does have the "Warbird" tendencies that can bite you if you're not diligent.”

“My 11 year old grandson flies. Modified from 3 blade to 2 blade prop based upon club members suggestion. Minimized LEFT torque steer, so takeoff is easier. Plane also flies faster. So what that it doesn't look exactly like the original. My grandson can now have fun. It's a great flier now!”

“I love flying this awesome aircraft! It has a beautiful high aspect ratio wing. Those complaining about it snap rolling on take off are yanking it into the air/pulling too much elevator. A scale take off with gradual throttle and rudder will gracefully lift this warbird into the air. It loves smoothe, scale manuevers and lands with a bit of throttle and airspeed, touching down on it’s main gear, tail flying.”

“Good scale aircraft. Has the typical left snap roll on take off or slow flight. Needs half throttle on takeoff, and I added some right rudder mix with throttle. Also, easy to hit prop on take off and landing. Buy spares. Usually, I just land it gear up on grass. Adverse yaw like a glider, use rudder. Tail wheel strut weak. Looks great in the air.”
