I've had my Bearcat up in the air five times so far and can honestly say that I am completely satisfied with my purchase! This is my first real warbird, although I have been flying a Parkzone T-28 for a few months beforehand and the flight characteristics are somewhat similar. However, flying the Bearcat is a breeze, and I can even say my landings are smoother and more controlled when flying the Bearcat. Fit and finish for a foam model is top-notch! The paint looks great and I also received four different sticker kits for customization. I had a tough time fitting the wings as they were a really tight fit - but once they were installed, there is no slop and the whole aircraft feels very solid. My only modification to the aircraft came when installing the receiver and bluebox. I did not like the manufacturers recommendation for mounting them so I built a small shelf out of carbon fiber and mounted it just aft of the battery bay (picture should be attached). Other than that minor modification, I have to say I am completely stoked with the FlightlineRC Bearcat and Motion RC! Thanks guys!!

The quality of the Bearcat is excellent! It was easy to assemble and the build video was helpful. It’s an awesome performer with a wide flight envelope. It’s extremely maneuverable and fast. Although my FlightLineRC FW-190 has a faster top speed the Bearcat will outclimb it and outmaneuver it with a smaller turn radius. The wide stance of the main landing gear combined with the forward rake make it the best ground handling warbird. $199 is an amazing deal for this plane! If my Bearcat doesn’t come home in one piece I’d definitely buy another. My test flight is on YouTube. https://youtu.be/he6--T2knhI

The F8F Bearcat is at the moment my favorite model. I can't say enough about this high performance War Bird. She performs just as the full size Bearcat does. Fast, very maneuverable, and great on landings. Use her power wisely and you will have many, many flights of fantastic fun! Just the absolute best! I recommend Testors Sea Blue enamel for touch ups around the battery hatch. Perhaps Flightline could incorporate hard plastic around the battery hatch because that is a bother.

Easy build, the video definitely helped! Some of the blue came off around the access hatch, so consider covering the entire paint with Minwax or something similar. I used the Blue Angels decals and added more yellow on wingtips and leading edge to improve visibility. Slightly trimmed landing gear doors to insure no binding. Maiden flight was great, used 3600mah 4 cell lipo - It flew very scale-like at half throttle, more importantly, the landing was uneventful. Looking forward to many more flights with this beauty!

Very nice airplane! Goes together easy, love the decals, and flies like a dream. Best landing tail dragger warbird I've ever flown. Highly recommended. (Stay away from the Admiral receivers though. I lost this beautiful plane on the 3rd flight due to loss of control response).

I have flown this plane now for three weeks and I fly four days a week. This has become my new go to plane. This Bearcat has all the power needed to do anything that a warbirds should do and some. It handles like a dream on the ground and in the air. I fly it using a 4 cell 4100-4500mA battery all the way forward in the battery compartment and she handles beautifully. Inverted flight is a pure joy and a great crowd pleaser when making low inverted passes over the runway. Don't let the name intimidate you this is a wonderful plane. Freewing nailed it with this one. The fit and assembly are great as well as good instructions to help out with assembly though it is almost fool proof with only eight screws to assemble and no glue need. The retracts are strong and operate very well. For the price you can't go wrong.
