“A very well thought out, designed, produced and packaged kit!This kit is a joy to assemble and fly as well. A couple of concerns that have been discussed are the prop and spinner assembly and the landing gear.This particular kit had a backplate seam at the rear of the centre hole which caught on the motor shaft during assembly, and simply required some very light filing using an oval shaped jeweller's file. While placing the backplate up on the motor shaft I found that it was a snug fit, but by rotating the backplate 90 degrees and trying to slide it on again, it moved very easily into position. The rest of the prop/spinner assembly was straightforward.The landing gear was and remains firmly attached and works flawlessly. It particularly shines while doing wheel landings on grass as you can actually see and hear the suspension working while the aircraft looks as smooth as silk during the roll out as the tail wheel slowly lowers to the ground. Many thanks to the good folks at Flightline and Motion RC and of course, Mr. Mitchell, for producing such a great airframe!!It is a joy to behold and fly!The Spitfire is truly a classic aircraft and is nothing short of poetry in motion while in flight.I belong to a great club that has some amazing scratch scale builders and flyers, who all really enjoyed this model.Fly Safe,Denis Costello,Guelph, Canada”
