“Terrific out of the box which was a snap to assemble and the kit came with 2 different decal designs. My plane suffered a minor mishap where the retracts were not properly glued to the wing but Wayne was extremely accommodating and replaced the damaged parts with no question immediately. I have purchase a number of planes from Motion RC and have never been disappointed.”
“I've wanted a large spitfire for the longest time and this one is perfect! I flew the maiden in windy conditions (it's Kansas) and it handled very well. My landings in the wind were less than ideal but the airplane is quite durable so no damage. The instructions are the usual and I hit a couple confusing spots but muddled through. I love this plane and will be buying a spare soon.”
“The size, for me, is perfect. The little touches like the fit of the plastic landing gear doors adds a lot. I put in a Mr.RC sound system and it really compliments it. I get 14 minute flights from a 5800mAh 6S pack. Assembly other tan decals is a half hour. Decals suck hours away and there could be a bit more instructions on placement. The water slides are horrible and should be replaced with Callies dry transfers. I did not use the blue box as I don't on any of my FLightLine or FreeWing planes, I trust Y's more than these electronics modules.”
“Best EPO Spitfire kit. Looks great and fly's great.Don't use epoxy to glue the tail to the fuse,use the glue that comes with the kit! For balancing don't use less than the 5000ma battery.”
“I have always loved the look of the double elliptical tapered wings of the Spitfire. One of this size is so fun to fly and just observe in the sky. Take off's are much easier than I expected them to be considering the stance and being a tail dragger. I find it easier to keep this one going straight down the runway than any of the other scale planes I have. The rolls and loops are just fun to do and watch. Roll out on landing is great as long as you wait for it to almost stop before turning and beware of a gust from the side.I have to call out a special thanks to the MRC team for putting the plastic skin bit on the wing tips. That is so much easier to touch out and keep looking nice than ruffed up foam.The only Improvement I would suggest is a single plug between the blue box and the receiver. I added my own. I have to take the wings off to transport and plugging and unplugging from the receiver is just not an option. It's not worth nocking a star off for but it is something to consider for later releases/updates.Great job MRC team. Another quality A/C with nice scale fidelity.”
